You might try heat if you have a small torch. Just heat up the female coupler. Not too much, don't want to melt the washer seal in the valve.

SOURCE: Oven door has come apart

I am afraid that yours is a common problem. The front glass normally has some small brackets glued to the inside face, which then locate into the door frame. The link will take you to a site that sells oven door glue

How to remove pressed wood flooring that has been glues down?

Brenda, Have you tried heat.
It works for mobile phone glass screens that are glued down. Try a hair dryer it may not be hot enough worth a try. You may need a heat gun that they use for stripping paint but it may set the flooring on fire so be very careful.
I looked at another web site and steam was suggested. Maybe you could try using a wall paper removing device. You may be able to hire one from a hardware shop. The ones that steam the wall paper off walls.
You may just need to use boiling water in those drilled holes.

Note Water would only work if the glue used was water soluble.
if the glue is Polyurethane Glue then Acetone or denatured alcohol will dissolve the glue.

You will need to rent or buy a space heater, gas or propane that puts out enough BTU's for the size room you are heating and just run it to keep the room up to temp. for as long as it takes.

I am wondering what cork flooring is. I am needing to fix something with my floor and someone told me I needed a new cork flooring. I don't understand.

I am not sure what flooring you have at the moment but sounds to me like someone is trying to sell you something. IF you already have cork flooring then it can be repaired, get another opinion from some other company. cork flooring comes in tiles that are laid down like other tiles with glue, it is recycled cork that has been compressed/glued/heated into flat hard sheets then cut into tile squares kind of like particle board. inexpensive and soft under the feet, good insulter as well. hope this gives you some clarity. always get a second opinion. take care, good luck.

Pre-glued laminated floors are easier to install than most other flooring, unless you're experienced and accustomed to working with your hands, you might want to leave this one to the professionals.

I have cleaned the toilet seat in hot water and the plastic glued stoppers for the seat have fallen off and the glue has become hard. Where do I get new stoppers from.

Hi seacenter30

Why buy new seat stoppers when all they need is just re-glueing.
Get yourself a cheap hot glue gun (HomeDepot,Lowes,WalMart, etc) and a couple of hot glue sticks and apply the hot glue to the rubber/plastic stoppers and hold them into position on the toilet seat lid till the glue sets, just takes about 20 seconds...
Then the toilet seat will be good to go again...pardon my pun...:-)
Please take time to rate me thumbs up

How to heat gun

When you remove old carpet from a room, you will most likely be left with remnants of glued-down backing on the floor. Getting the tile back to it's original smooth appearance can be a tedious task. You will need to make sure that you have a lot of patience and a lot of elbow grease. Start removing the glue by scraping the tile with a heavy-duty wallpaper scraper or a long-handled scraper. Do a quick sweep of the floor. Plug in your heat gun. Once it is heated up, you will want to place it at a forty-five degree angle to the floor and direct the heat on the remaining carpet backing. The carpet backing will loosen considerably as the glue begins to dissolve. The carpet backing will loosen considerably as the glue begins to dissolve. Use the wallpaper scraper to remove the loosened backing. Work in small sections. Once you have removed the carpet backing from the tile, wash the area with warm water and soap to ensure all of the glue and backing are removed. Continue until the entire tile floor is free of carpet backing.
