Check and replace the CRT base connecting Socket. It is faulty. This can be located at the CRT base card. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Inserted blue ray disc into cold ps3, now dead dead dead

Does it have a red light in front or nothing? If you don't have anything then your power supply has went out and you can pick one of those up for 40-50 dollars on eBay.

Thanks,

Switching on the tele this morning, the normal blue background is now half red and half blue.....(top half red) so that while watching a program now people have green faces.......weird!!

Good Day, deejay268;
Try resetting the entire system by unplugging the tele and the boxe. Unplug from power source for 3 to 5 minutes, then re- connect. Good Luck, big IRISH.
