What welder is this? Many machines have a main relay that could burn out, or the problem could be in your PCB. It is telling the motor to turn on, but not sending voltage to actuate the main relay.

Inside the panel where the wire spool is there will be a ground cable. Check the ground cable and other cables in that door to make sure that the connections are tight. Also make sure that welder ground cable has a good connection and is not sitting on a painted or rusty surface.

Weld arc not stable. Wire feeds, good ground,

Arc blow could be the cause! Put your ground on the work piece and weld away from it. If you weld toward a ground clamp the magnetic forces will blow your arc around sometime. When taking a cert this simple mistake can make or break ya on your cap or reinforcement beads.

Will not arc

Check ground connection at welder along with your ground clamp. Bad connection could be the issue. Also check settings on your welder.

My Hobart 175 Handler wire feed stops shortly after the arc is struck. Recovers in about 20 seconds. Motor protection ckt is probably doing it. No restriction in feed cable or gun, wire moves smoothly....

Yes sounds like it is "Detecting" a "Fault" condition and shutting down the Arc for safety, then it recovers, and it repeats, I think, you should Check, your Earth leads, Connections, and Overcurrent Protection Threshold if there is a control. Check power is going to the feed motor at time of arc, and if it is still getting enough or if it, the voltage to it,"Sags" under load...In this case it is a power supply problem.

Wire doesn't feed and I cannot get an arc

Fist look and check the contact tip. ensure the tip is the correct size for the wire being used as well as the wire feed rollers. the contact tip is were the wire collects the power,
If it's only 3 day's old send it back, dont star strippin it down or you Garantee will be made invalid.

No arc, fan works,wire feeds.......ect.

wityh what little imfo you gave I would first go to the main contactor ,turn unit on pull gun trigger see if the contactor pulls in.that is where primary power comes from to create arc.

The wire feed on my welder will not work.

Maybe you can get lucky like I did . Some times the acr volt selector switch gets corrosion in it and wont let the circuit board know to send power to the wire feed motor. You can cycle this arc volt. switch in my case it is the a,b,c,d,e, switch back and fourth a few times and this will brake the corrosion and your wire might feed again as mine did . This corrosion build up happens from not using and or sollecting the switch much usually on a welder at hm that gets very little use. it is common good luck .

No arc/ no burn

You need to inspect the ground.Where it connects to the machine, and at the end. I bet one of the connections or the wire itself is damaged.

Mig Question

MIG stands for Metal Inert Gas welding, many times called Wire-feed.. Also referred as GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding). The "Metal" refers to the wire which is what is used to start the arc. It is shielded by inert gas and the feeding wire also acts as the filler rod. A semi-automatic process, it is fairly easy to learn and use.
