Sometimes this is caused by a bad connection between the lcd and the lcd driver board. Unplug this cable and plug it again firmly.

I don't have a listing for your exact model, but a similar one has its LCD panel costing over $600 net. Check with a local servicer for parts availablility as the model I used has the panel no longer available. It is possible that a replacement panel won't be available for you either.

Lg 37le2r will only show black and white picture. Checked antenna ok.
I've encountered that experience before it needs some technical knowledge because the raster for rgb on your lcd is going bad and the video signal out put cable is mis aligned get someone to re align the raster and your video signal output cable

From your description, te LCD is cracked. Generally, scratches do not grow, cracks do grow.

A crack in an LCD panel is not covered under warranty, so you'd have to pay to have theLCD panel replaced (Normally a couple hundred bucks)
