While pulling to start . engine sticks and snatches back braking the dogs.Gx390 Honda

This could be caused by a couple of different things.
The most common problem is the EZ Start valve on the pump is not working.
If you remove the high pressure hose and start the unit without the hose on and you have no problem they you would need to replace the EZ Start valve...

The other problem could be the valves need adjustment but with the Honda engines this is probably not as common.

If my generator shut off due to low lubricant will it reset automatically? If not is there a reset valve/button?

The pull cord is like a starter on a car (separate from the motor/engine). If the pull cord will not turn it could be because the motor/engine is seized.

Honda em5000sx generator won't start

Hi,
I have a EM5000SX. My problem is my generator will not start unless I turn the fuel selector to off. Then crank it until it does start, turn the fuel back on. Run's normal . I run this generator for my cabin every weekend.

Our Honda EB 3500 generator was serviced a month ago and now that we need it it won't work. The generator will start however it won't take a load. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions?...

It's either not getting enough fuel, or the govenor is not working. When the engine is running, watch the throttle linkage between the carburetor and engine, looks like a bent wire. When you throw a load on it, it should move to give the engine more power, if it dont, try moving it by hand.
If that appears to be working ok, check the fuel line from the tank to the carb for good gas flow.
You can also remove the float bowl on the bottom of the carb, it's a round bowl on the bottom of the carb with a bolt in the middle of it...clean it out and check the float. The float looks like a little catamaran, make sure it is moving freely up and down. That is about all you can do without removing and cleaning the jets in the carb.

Good luck, & i hope this helps.

I have a Honda super quiet 6300i generator. It runs fine and then suddenly will stop. It restarts fine and there are no warning lights of any kind lit on the generator. What could be the cause and how...

Check the oil. Many of these units have a safety switch that will shut off the unit if the oil is low. It doesn't take much on some of these. Or, just add a little oil and give it a try, it certainly won't hurt it.

Hi, i have a Honda ES 2200 7 years old, it supply grinders, drillingmachines, jigsaws etc without any problems, but lamps and other divices that uses less power, won`t start up ?

I think that your Honda has the so called "Automatic idle".
If the load falls under some minimal load (20 - 100 W) it automatically goes into it.
This option has to be cancelled or adjusted, in order to handle small loads.
Otherwise you should connect permanent load of 50 - 70 W in order to use your small consumers.
