Question about Vacuums
The unit will not come on now please help. if the a fuse or resistor that can be replaced?

So now you have to check the wires. The reason there is a polarized plug is to prevent the hot wire from being sent to ground. Obviously when you changed the plug, the hot wire was sent to ground. The current draw then burned a wire in half. There is no fuse.
