SOURCE: what per cent of one acre is 8,398 sq. feet? Like I/2 acre or 1/3acre

divide 8,398 by 43,578.582996 and you get this really long decimal, so you can round up or keep it that way. I will round up. It is about 19.271% of an acre. (answer rounded to nearest thousandth)

SOURCE: adding and subtracting lengths of measurements

You can use the units menu (2nd > 3) to place a unit after some number you want to qualify as being an unit, or you can just type them in like 5_ft + 6_in. Note that you need to add on each part if you are doing mixed measurements; there is no _ft_in combination. So just add each manually - in your case you would do (5_ft + 6_in) - (2_ft + 8_in)

SOURCE: I have a plot of

1 acre = 43,560 sq ft. 617 ft x 50 ft = 30,850 sq ft or about 0.708 acres.

An acre is 43,560 square feet, so a half acre is 21,780 square feet. If the lot is rectangular, you multiply the length of the long side (in feet) times the length of the short side (in feet). For instance if the lot is 200 feet x 110 feet, the area is 22,000 square feet, just a little over a half acre. If the lot is not rectangular, then you need to have a good knowledge of geometry to calculate the area.

Measure the room in feet, multiply the two together.

12 feet a 8 feet room ? 12x8 = 96 square feet.

Linear feet (often called Lineal feet) are the same as regular feet. No conversion is necessary. If something is 6 linear feet tall, it is 6 feet tall. FAQ What is linear feet How do convert it to feet FAQ What is linear feet How do convert it to feet

Oh wow, lots of math going on here...

There are 4840 square yards in an acre and 9 square feet in a square yard (4840 x 9 = 43,560).

An acre is an old timers measurement used in agriculture...

it was 4 poles wide and 40 poles long. A pole is equivalent to sixteen and a half feet. So back then, an acre was a piece of farming land 660 feet long (220 yards or one eighth of a mile) and 66 feet wide (22 yards or one eightieth of a mile).

Acre is a measure of area, which would be square feet.

Feet are a measure of distance.

The best you could do is something like this:

An acre is 43, 560 square feet.

Draw/imagine a square or a rectangle that would cover that much area.

If it is a square, it would be (approximately) 208.7 feet on each side.

Its perimeter (the distance around it if you walk an imaginary fence around you acre-sized plot) would be 834.8 feet.

Trying to to figure out an acre of 'Circle' - hmmmmm???

Radius = 1/2 of Diameter

sorry, just can't wrap my head around this to come up with the correct equation.

maybe we can get lucky with some other brainiac taking what I did provide and come up with a solution for you?

Square - It would be 208.7 feet across if you walk across it, and the same if you walk the other way across it.

no-- the sizes you have supplied come to 34.680 sq ft which is equal to .796 of an acre. roughly 3/4 of an acre

1 acre is equal to 43.560 sq ft.

1 acre is equal to 43.560 sq ft.

Since acre is a measure of area and feet is a measure of distance, you need to calculate the perimeter of a lot with an area of half an acre. Here are the formulas:

1. If the lot is a square (all 4 sides of equal length), multiply the length of one side by 4, to get the # of feet required to walk a half acre piece of land.

2. If the lot is rectangle: (heightx2)+(widthx2).

3. If the lot is a triangle, add up all three sides.

Assuming the sides are straight and the north and south ends are parallel, about 54.1 acres.

Aug 15, 2014 | Acr Electronics GPS

An acre is about 4047 square meters or about 43,560 square feet.

A plot of land one meter by 4047 meters is an acre. A plot of land one foot by 43,560 feet (8 1/4 miles) is also an acre.

A square plot of land about 63.6 meters or 208.7 feet on a side is also an acre.

The dimensions of an acre are 66ft x 660ft. So the perimeter of an acre is 1,452ft.
