How do you round 3.51795813 to the nearest thousandth

See the above line. The numbers relate to negative powers of ten.

1/1000 is 1x 10-3

Therefore the nearest thousandth is to three decimal places, which is 3.517, though since it is followed by a nine, which is greater than 4, the 7 then has 1 added to it and becomes 8.

The answer, therefore is 3.518.

Round 1.0649 to the nearest thousandth

It would be 1.0649 because... the 0 means nothing. even though its next to ten thousandths place it still has no value. If you think or thought it had value look at it this way... 0 plus 3. It would be 4 because it WOULD have a value of one. The answer is 1.0649.

Round to nearest thousand

Step 1 - identify the thousandths column - going to the right of the decimal point, we have the tenths column, the hundredths column, and the thousandths column

Step 2 - check the number immediately to the right of this column

Step 3 - if this number is 5 or more, add 1 to the thousandths column - if this number is 4 or less, don't add 1 to the thousandths column (leave it alone)

Step 4 - erase all the numbers to the right of the thousandths column.

In this case, the number in the thousandths column is 4. The number immediately to the right of it is a 0. Since the 0 is 4 or less, we don't add 1 to the thousandths column. Now we erase all numbers to the right of the thousandths column. I get 22.524.

Good luck.

How can i round off the nearest thousands

Do you mean round off to the nearest thousandths? The thousandths place is the third place to the right of the decimal point. An example would be 0.001. In this case you have a 1 in the thousandths places which would be stated as one thousandth. To round to the nearest thousandths place you would look at the number in the ten-thousandths place and use that to determine what the number in the thousandths place should be. For example, if you have a number such as 0.1234 your answer, rounded to the nearest thousandth would be 0.123 because 4 is less than 5 and therefore you would round down. If you have a number such as 0.1235 your answer would be 0.124 because you always round up if the number in the next decimal place is 5 or higher.

I hope this helps.
