Unfortunately, manufacturers do have more than one set of instructions in any given language. The best advice I can give you is to ask about specific functions or procedures about the particular phone you have. That way, some one might be able to interpret that section of the manual for you. To ask someone to interpret the entire manual is more than most people will be willing to do. Lastly, you might want to contact Northwestern Bell to express you displeasure with the complicated manual.
