The power went out and now the wii wont turn back on?

HI. this is a power supply issue. Your unit is equipped with an external power supply unit. This box incorporates all the necessary AC current regulators, and transfer agents to run the Wii. There are ,also, some protection circuits as well. These are in place to protect the unit from surges are unstable AC spikes as well. There is a fuse that is located inside the power supply box. Simple unplug the power supply, and gain access to the fuse, by removing the outer cover of the power supply unit. there are a few screws,(on the bottom), that hold the top cover. remove the screws, and open the power supply unit. this will expose the fuse. Kindly, inspect the fuse. if it shows signs of trauma, and it is blown, simply replace the fuse.

Now, if the fuse shows no signs of trauma, or burn marks, this will confirm power supply circuit failure. This will require that you replace this damaged power supply unit asap.

Need a part number for a 3310Le 110 vac power supply

Oops!

Generally the unit should have a part number attached to or printed on it somewhere. This is for the board with the power switch attached, it's called the power supply unit, so hopefully this is what you are looking for.

There seems to be two possible options, so you will need to determine which is the correct unit you need.

AZ23 0204 - Power Supply Unit: 100V (RoHs)
H555 5010 - Power Supply Unit - 120V

Xbox 360 not powering up at all. power supply light blinks orange

An orange light is illuminated on the power supply for one of the following reasons:

* The console is turned off.
* The power supply is disconnected from the console.
* The power supply cord is not fully inserted into the power socket of the console.
* The power supply is faulty.
* The console is faulty. (The console might be faulty if it does not turn on when the power supply light is orange.)

The power supply has several built-in safeguards to help prevent damage to either your Xbox 360 console or the power supply itself. The power supply will automatically turn off if either the current flow, the voltage, or the temperature is too high. When the power supply turns off for any of these reasons, the light on the power supply will turn from green (normal) to orange or to red, or the light will turn off. When the power supply light is green, the power supply is working correctly. What you are experiencing is an over heating issue, that may have damaged the supply.

With that being said, i would try to reset the supply by disconnecting the unit from the console, and unplugging the power supply unit from the wall socket for 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes have passed, reconnect the unit to the console, and plug the power supply into the wall socket. If the console dose not power up, and the supply unit is still showing an orange illuminated operating light, this will confirm that the power supply unit will need to be replaced. Contact Microsoft for the correct replacement parts needed(power supply unit)

TIPS FOR PREVENTING OVERHEATING ISSUES

* Do not block any ventilation openings in the power supply.
* Do not put the power supply on a bed, on a sofa, or on any other soft surface that might block ventilation openings.
* Do not put the power supply in a confined space, such as a bookcase, a rack, or a stereo cabinet, unless the space is well ventilated.
* Do not put the power supply on a stereo speaker, an amplifier, or a heat source such as a radiator or a heat register.
* Do not use an unlicensed accessory, such as a replacement power supply that was not manufactured by Microsoft, or any accessory that plugs in between the Xbox 360 console and the power supply.
* Plug the power supply directly into a working wall outlet. You may have problems with the power supply if you use an extension cord or a power strip if the extension cord or the power strip is faulty or cannot supply the required power to the console.
* If you are not sure about the reliability of an AC power outlet, power circuit, or power cabling, do not use it. Contact an electrician.

My x-box don't turn on at all

the power supply unit has a light indicator..

green orange and red,

if your power supply unit shows green light, it means that there is no problem with your power supply, but try to check the power cord that is directly connected to the power port of the console

if it shows orange, it means that the power suppy unit is in standby mode, try other wall outlet

if its red, dude you have to let the power supply unit to let for a couple of hours, and if its still red you have to replace your power supply unit..

I Need a power suply

These units don't have a separate "power suppy" per se. There is a power transformer and a separate board that contains the standby power supply components. The main power supply components are on the main board.

Rather than looking for a "power supply", what is the problem with the unit? Is there a standby light?

Power Supply Unit

Hi harry_p58,

It's not really cost effective to repair power supplies such as the one that you have. You can get a new high-quality power supply at very good prices these days (which will be cheaper and more reliable than trying to bring your old one back to life)

Hope that helps,

Take care,
Michael

It is likely that the power supplys have blown diodes or capacators
and there is too much ac in the signal ,
or the power supplys you have don't have enough wattage to power the units cleanly. did they ever work.
instead of using a power supply with 300ma or so use one that has 500ma or better 1 amp even.
