No idea what you want to know.

You don't put salt in a dishwasher, so your question doesn't really make sense.

Why is there iodine in salt?

Because the USA government want you to take iodine. Buy Kosher Salt or Natural sea salt if you don't want the iodine.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to:navigation, search global_iodized_salt_logo.jpg Global logo for iodised salt. Logos, such as this one, are placed on salt packages to help consumers identify salt that contains added iodine. Iodised salt (also spelled iodized salt) is table salt mixed with a minute amount of various salts of the element iodine. The ingestion of iodine prevents iodine deficiency. Worldwide, iodine deficiency affects about two billion people and is the leading preventable cause of intellectual and developmental disabilities.[1][2] Deficiency also causes thyroid gland problems, including "endemic goitre". In many countries, iodine deficiency is a major public health problem that can be cheaply addressed by purposely adding small amounts of iodine to the sodium chloride salt.
Iodine is a micronutrient and dietary mineral that is naturally present in the food supply in some regions, especially near sea coasts, but is generally quite rare in the Earth's crust, since iodine is a so-called "heavy" element and abundance of chemical elements generally declines with greater atomic mass. Where natural levels of iodine in the soil are low and the iodine is not taken up by vegetables, iodine added to salt provides the small but essential amount of iodide needed by humans.

How to mixing oil and diesel in a Mercedes actors engine

No need to mix oil and diesel since the diesel fuel itself provides lubrication to the internal fuel system parts. If you put oil in the gas tank, expect a huge amount of white smoke from the exhaust pipe until the fuel tank goes empty.

How much salt do you put in a 22,000gal. pool?

WOW... You have a huge above ground pool! Are you planning to use the Intex chlorinator to chlorinate your 22,000 gallon pool??? If you are, take a look at the max gallon rating and how long you may need to run... Here's a chart that should help you determine how much salt to add... After adding the salt, run the pump for 24 hrs without the chlorinator to properly dissolve the salt... Don't be surprised if you need to add above 500 lbs!!!
Good luck and hope this works for you...

I have a 24by52inche pool how much salt do i puy in it to keep the water clear

on I estimated your pool water depth at 4' in a 24' diameter round pool and the calculator estimated the water volume to be 14700 gal. I then entered the concentration of salt now as 0 and the goal as 3500 ppm. The estimated amount of salt was 431 lbs. The pool calaulator page also calculates many other amounts that may be helpful to you in the future. I hope this helps.

Just purchased and installed Intex salt water system. It shows low flow and now, after 5 days of installment, the water is completely green (expecting Swam Thing to come out!) I need your guidance to...

Seems like you may not have the pump and the salt chlorinator in sync... If your water is dark green and not a big pool, you may want to drain and refill, if you have a large pool, you may want to shock and then try the following...
1.Make sure you have added the correct amount of salt...
2.Set your timer for your pump for 12 hrs.
3.Wait 15 minutes and then turn on your intex salt water system..
4.Set you hrs of operation on your salt water system for 10 to 11 hrs...
5.After running the system for 3 days, check your chlorine level..

If water clears and chlorine level is high, adjust the time.. You will have to re-sync the pump and chlorinator.. If the pump turns off before the chlorinator finishes it's cycle, you will get a "LOW FLOW" alarm..
I hope this helps and good luck.. Please rate and comment on the information provided.

Hi i have a 18 x 48 above ground intex frame pool with a salt water pump /chlorinator system. i have put the required amount of salt in 75 kg and it has fully desolved. the alarm keep coming up on the pump...

the amount of salt that they reccomend in the book is just a starting point
You need to get a salt test kit that reads in #'s not colors
Get your pool to as close to 3000ppm as possible
lower than 2800ppm and you will not produce enough chlorine
any higher than 3500ppm and you can trigger high salt alarm, have bad tasting water, or even get cloudy water
Like you have done, when adding salt , filter only for 6 hours or so to fully disolve

My water is cloudy but I have good salt amount is there anything I can do

What is good salt amount to you?
Did you go with the lbs of salt recommended in the manual?
That is just a starting point
you need to use a salt test kit that reads in #'s not color coded
get your salt to 3000ppm lower than 2800ppm will not produce enough sanitizer and over 3800ppm will give you bad taste, some cloudy, and even a possible high alarm
cloudy water is usually bad filtration
Intex pumps are to small for the pools they come with
Not enough horses
you need to turn your pool over at the bare minimum of 3-4 times in a day

Since I do not know what you are running I will use generic #'s
If you have a 5000 gl pool and a 2500 gl pump you should at least run your filter 6-8 hours remember this is minimum you will have to do the math for your pool

It is also important to blast out your cartridge once a day
It is best to have 2 one drying while the other one is working
A freshly cleaned filter does not filter as well as a dry one

Also you should be using 3 seperate chemicals which go buy gallons of water
a good stabilizer that you float in a nylon. This helps hold the chlorine content
What destroys chlorine? # of bathers, sun, heat, rain, sun tan oil and so on so it will be up to you to figure out what works for what you are exoeriencing
second is a liquid non foaming algaecide every 5-7 days
and lastly the paper filter cartridges are **** you should use a water clarifier that clumps the minute particles to form bigger ones that the filter can actually trap
just remeber salt systems don't keep your pool clearer it just makes it so that you do not have to pour liquid sanitizer in or float tablets
Clear water is from good pool maintainence and filter filter filter
I run mine 24/7
It only uses as much power as a 40 watt light bulb

My Salt water pump keeps saying it is low on salt. I have added plenty of salt.

What is plenty of salt? There is a specific amount that you need Can't guess at it.
You must be above 2800ppm and no higher than 3800ppm
3000ppm is the best
You will need test strips for salt that reads in numbers not color

High salt can also trigger a LOW salt alarm
Don't ask me, it just happens

Just remeber 3000ppm

Low salt indicator

high concentration? Salt is salt except for the fact in aq pool you want 98% pure and it must not be iodized salt
Also before generating salt with the timer you must have the right amount of salt
the #'s in the manual are just guidelines
get a salt test kit and get your pool to 3000ppm you need to filter only 24 hours or so getting to the 3000ppm wheather you ad salt or need to drain water and ad fresh none the less get it to 3000ppm
Now worry about your chlorine level if it is to high leave alone until it comes down if too low then run the generator for a few hours if it does not show on the scale at all try 4-6 hours
you will get a knack for the amount of time you need for your chlorine situation

if once all of this is set right and you still get high reading on salt unit take it apart as directed and spray it out with the garden hose
it is really simple only 4 screws

My scooba 5810 won't run

Fill the dirty water tank with hot water and giving the tank a good shake then pour the water out. Continue to do this until the water coming out of the dirty side of the tank is clean.
