I have a Sauter oven. When I try tuning it on nothing happens. No light,no fan,no heat. The clock display seems OK.I tried pressing the menu button several times.Nothing helps. What can be the solution?

I should suspect the fuse or circuit breaker that is supposed to power the oven if turned off.
It could be nothing more than a power surge from a lightning strike somewhere.
Find the electric box and check it out.
If the fuse or circuit breakers panel is good, remove the oven and check for current at the wiring that goes from the oven to the fuse/circuit breaker box.
If all that tests good, you have a problem with the oven control.
It may be "toasted". (No good)
God bless your efforts.

"Amanda" ARDS802E. Why won't it heat?

Becky, it sounds like you have either a failed ERC or Electronic control board (Y0315030) or a bad limit control switch (31933003). If it's the ERC it's likely bad relay(s). If your clock is powering up and you see the clock then that lets us know that you are receiving power to the oven. If it's the Limit Control, then you will need to replace that approximately $60. It's inside the oven and prevents the elements from getting hot if it breaks. If it's the ERC then you can have it repaired for $99.99 from The Repair Shack. The link for the repair service is: Repair Service For GE Oven Range Control Board Y0315030. Hope this helps!

Built-in oven-- clock unresponsive

You do not need the clock I removed it and wired the oven direct. The wires are easy to get at when the front panel is removed. If you look at the manuals on line they will guide you with the correct wires to use

Wolf ovens getting err message after power outage

I had a Wolf 30F wall oven with a similar problem
after power outage. It wouldnt stop beeping with error message related
to temperature control. My solution was to turn power of at circuit
panel, then reset by pressing and holding the clear button for 5
seconds.

Also note: in my case I had to close the display
before switching the panel off. When I tried to the reset process with
the panel showing, it wouldn\'t reset.

To reset other
various parts of the control panel Instructions said:

Time-of-Day Clock

Immediately after the oven is installed, set
the 12-hour clock to the current time of day. It may need to be reset
after a prolonged power failure. The clock is visible on the control
panel during all modes. If the upper oven timer is set, the clock will
not be visible in the upper oven control panel display.

SETTING CLOCK

1) Touch CLOCK.

2) Touch number pads to
set current time of day.

3) Touch CLOCK or ENTER to start
clock.

24-HOUR CLOCK

The time-of-day clock can be
changed from a 12-hour clock to a 24-hour clock. After the clock has
been set, touch TEMPERATURE for three seconds, touch CLOCK, and then
touch ENTER. Follow the same sequence to change back to the standard
12-hour clock setting.

Fahrenheit to Celsius

The
oven can be changed from Fahrenheit (°F) temperature to Celsius
(°C).

HI,
Sounds like you need a repair person to check out the power to your display (clock), If your clock has power but will not display you could need either the transformer (low voltage 12 volts) or a ERC (which is the clock). Lately I have noticed transformers have been on the rise in several of these models. Also the transformer is alot cheaper than the ERC. If you can test this, you will find the connection you need is on the board as you tip the control panel, you will find the light blue wire bottom right of the control board. If you have 12 volts to the clock there, your clock is bad, in not your transformer has failed.
If you have never done anything like this call someone to help you, Be safe with electricity!!!
I hope this helps

Clock display won't stay lit

Same thing happened to our Kenmore range and I found a solution on the web about fixing this problem on a fridgedaire range. It was to hold down the clock button for an extended time ~15 sec. It worked for our kenmore and hopefully for yours too.

No display and no heat in oven

Hey worken_man
Try pressing the start button for about 15 seconds. If nothing happens its very likely that the transformer on the controller is busted. If you know how to get to the controller check the primary side (high voltage side) for open circuit. The easiest thing would be to change the controller and not fuss with changing the transformer

Jenn-Air Gas Range SEG196 NO CLOCK/DISPLAY

THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR THE BAD DISPLAY IS TO REPLACE THE CLOCK. I HAVE A JENN AIR OVEN TODAY AS A WORK ORDER TO REPLACE THE CLOCK FOR A FAILED DISPLAY.

FOR THE JGW8130DDB WITH NO POWER ANYWHERE, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A SUPPLY PROBLEM. MAKE SURE THE WIRING IS HOOKED UP WITH THE RED AND WHITE WIRES RECEIVING 240 VOLTS AND THE WHITE WIRE ATTACHED TO NEUTRAL / GROUND.IF THE OVEN HAS A BARE COPPER WIRE AND THE HOUSEHOLD WIRING ONLY HAS THREE WIRES, COMBINE THE WHITE WIRE AND THE COPPER WIRE TOGETHER AND ATTACH TO THE HOUSEHOLD NEUTRAL / GROUND .
UNLESS YOU ARE SURE ABOUT THE HOOKUP IN THE BREAKER/FUSE BOX, DO NOT GO SIMPLY BY THE COLOR OF THE WIRES.
