I would try this:

Power off the copier/printer.
Power it back on
While it is warming up, press and hold the start button for 5 seconds.
This should activate the automatic start feature.

I bought a used 7525 Xerox. Wont print now. Screen reads Activation Code Attempts Exceeded. The maximum number of Activation Code attempts has been exceeded and activation code entry is now locked.


The previous owner has set activation code check if you can get the code if unable to then reset the Xerox..use the following steps

1- enter diagnostic mode >> hold 0 10s then press start >> password 6789

2- tab on Adjustments then tab on dc301 NVM initialization >> choose copier >> selest all >> then initialize.

3- tab on call closeout then exit & reboot.

4- after the macthine turned on you find it in a non customer mode.

5- again enter diagnostic mode again >> hold 0 10s then press start >> password 6789

6- tab on Adjustments then tab on dc131 NVM Read/Write > enter 616-014 >> change the value to 2

7- again tab on call closeout then exit & reboot.

8- while the machine is turning choose customer then follow the setup as you want till reach to lock or unlock tools >> choose unlock tools.

9- you will never need the admin password again also on the web page.

Error 93-311 xerox 4595

That error signified a failed dispense motor. First try reset NVM 762-032 to 0. If that doesn't work replace the dispense motor.
Part number 127K38220.

I have copier xerox 5021 error is 092-910 what does it mean

That error is an ATC failure. It can be caused by a bad drum or MCU Board. You can first try clear the value of NVM [752-059] (ATC Fail) or NVM [752-060] (ATC Fail Continuous Count) to '0'. Enter Diagnostics, Press and hold the [0] key on the Control Panel for 4 seconds or longer and then press
the [Start] button while keeping your finger on the [0] key.
Password is 6789. And go to NVM Initialize.

Here is a note from a Xerox Tech:

Everything points to NVM coruption so try with reseating the NVM pwb. And then maybe NVM init.

Error code 010-320?? What can I do?

  1. Press and hold the 0 key for 5 seconds, then while still holding down the 0 key, press the Start button.
    The CE Access Number screen will appear.
    Enter 6789 and press Confirm.
  2. The topmost area of the UI display will be reversed to let the user know that the mode has changed to the CE mode .
  3. then selcet NVM Read Write and enter appropriate chain (1st 3 digits of NVM) and function (last 3 digits of NVM) code .

Hello, after a NVM reset my ADF stop working and color where in wrong places. I resolve the color problems but ADF is not working is this activated by a NVM code? Regards, Hugo

How did you resolve the color problem? I am having the same issue on a Xerox Workcentre 24. After initializing the NVM, the auto-feeder does not work and the colors are off. How did you resolve the colors being offset?

Fault code problem whit xerox 5665

This sounds like a fuser problem, underheat or over heat. On this machine also, it might be related to NVM, or NVM memory corruption. Sometimes the batteries on the Main Board, they just get old and die.
This can be a multiple problem on the machine.
This might require a Xerox service person to visit the machine.
Some ideas are: A bad heat sensor(Thermistor), very fragil and brittle.
A NVM might need to be reset, Over heat or underheat code in the diagnostice service mode. You need a service manual to find it.Very complicated to explain.
A full sump bottle can cause this, the machine enters a code in the NVM and will keep the machine from "Logicly turning on." Or a broken full sump bottle, sensor falls off or not in place will cause the machine to enter a error code in the NVM.
