Question about Apex Digital AT2008S 20" TV
What you may have is a cold solder joint in the audio section of the TV. To find this problem you will need a schematic, and mutlimeter, and a small audio signal finder. If you have a cold solder joint look in the audio section of the TV (The schematic will help you find it). use the audio signal finder to locat the position where the sound drops out, and then use the multimeter to find if the proper voltages are on the audio output components. This troubleshooting implies that you have the bacground in electronics, if you do not have a background in electronics I would suggest that you take the set to a qualified TV repair shop.
