My heater is stuck on the windshield and floor what actuator needs to be changed

Air Distribution
The HVAC control module controls the distribution of air by the use of a defrost actuator and a mode actuator. The modes that may be selected are:
?€¢
Defrost

?€¢
Defog

?€¢
Panel

?€¢
Bi-Level

?€¢
Floor

The mode and defrost actuators are connected to the mode and defrost doors by a cam type linkage system. Depending on the position of the door, air is directed through the HVAC module and distributed through various ducts leading to the outlets in the dash. If the HVAC control module detects a fault with the mode or defrost doors the HVAC control module will try to drive the actuator for a predetermined amount of time, to defrost, which is the defaulted position for the mode and defrost door actuators. When the mode switch is placed in the defrost or defog positions the A/C is commanded on and the recirculation door is moved to the outside air position to help reduce window fogging. A/C is available in all modes and recirculation is only available in the panel and bi-level modes.
Circuit Description The following DTCs are for the HVAC door actuators: ?€¢
B0248 is for the defrost actuator.
?€¢
B0263 is for the mode actuator.
?€¢
B0408 is for the left air temperature actuator.
?€¢
B0418 is for the right air temperature actuator.
The HVAC control module controls the HVAC door actuators to regulate the airflow through the HVAC system. Each actuator consists of a stepper motor, a logic circuit, and a potentiometer. The potentiometer inside the door actuator allows the module to monitor the current position of the actuator drive shaft. The logic circuit inside the actuators receives control signals from the HVAC control module and controls the internal stepper motor. When a door positional change is required, the HVAC control module calculates a commanded door position. The module compares the commanded door position to the actual door position and determines the needed direction of motor rotation. The module applies a signal voltage to the door control circuit that is an input to the internal logic circuit of the door actuator. A 5 volt signal increases the door position. A 0 volt signal decreases the door position. When the commanded door position is equal to the actual door position, the HVAC control module sends a 2.5 volt signal to the door actuator and motor rotation stops. The ignition 3 voltage circuit provides source voltage to the logic circuit. The module provides ground to the actuator logic circuit through the low reference circuit. I would start by having the HVAC control module checked for DTC'S -diagnostic trouble codes First . Then check the system by using scan tool data . 1

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. With a scan tool, command the appropriate HVAC door actuator ON and OFF while observing the corresponding Door Actual parameter.
Does the scan tool indicate that the value of the appropriate Door Actual parameter changes?
Go to Diagnostic Aids
Go to Step 3

How do I get the sensor to go on when I open the door and go into the room?

These senors can be confusing. When the ambient light is added to the in-farad light a slight interference can a occur. Think of it as a signal no noise problem. By adjusting the position of either the light transmitter or sensor receiver an improvement to the signal to noise can occur providing a robust action. In all cases the light should go out when the light beam is obstructed.

My right front turn signal not working the bulbs are good and so is the fuse but I don't have fire going to them it's a 2010 chevy 2500hd

You don't have fire , never heard it called that before ! Battery voltage , power but never fire ! An open CTSY fuse located in the I/P fuse block will affect the operation of the right front turn signal only
Turn Signal/Hazard Lamps When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left or right position, a ground signal is completed from the turn signal switch to the BCM. When the hazard flasher switch is activated, a ground signal is completed from the turn signal/hazard switch to the BCM. The BCM then sends an ON-OFF voltage signal through the fuses to the appropriate turn signal and side repeater (export only) lamps or to all of the turn signal fuses for hazard operation. The driver door switch and passenger door switch also receive voltage from the BCM turn signal supply voltage circuits for the mirror turn signals. The door switches have no function or control of the mirror turn signals other than a pass through connection for the circuits. The audio chime is also activated when the turn signals are ON. The instrument panel cluster (IPC) receives the signals to activate the turn signal indicators over the GMLAN serial data system. When the hazard switch is pressed, all turn signal lamps will flash including both IPC turn indicators.
Ground is applied at all times at G201 to the turn signal/multifunction switch. The turn signal lamps may only be activated with the ignition switch in the ON or START position. When the turn signal/multifunction switch is placed in either the TURN RIGHT or TURN LEFT position, ground is applied to the body control module (BCM) through either the right turn or left turn signal switch signal circuit. The BCM then applies a pulsating voltage to the front and rear turn signal lamps through their respective control circuits.

What activates the soap dispensor door?

Bill, it is activated by a signal from the timer. Sometimes the signal goes through a circuit board before going to the door latch, so you can actually have several items that might be causing it to not open. You will probably just have to open it up and look to see if there are any burned connectors or anything that does not look right and go from there. Hope this helps!

Seems as if all the senors in my car is going. I have the dash "low coolant" light on but coolant is fine. I also have a sensor in my front passenger side door gone and now my turn signals aren't

These are not really sensors but switches. The low coolant one if the tank is full is defective it is located in the coolant recovery tank. The door has a defective door ajar switch in one or more of the four doors, have a dealer scan the systems control module for id of which sensor it is, to replace them requires the door be taken apart a very time consuming job if you have to remove all 4 door panels.

Does the bcm control the alarm in a 2006 monte Carlo? I can't seem to get the alarm to go off. I've also noticed that I have no chime and turn signal sounds. I just recently purchased this car and...

The no chime and turn signal has nothing to do with the alarm. You have a issue with power supply to turn flasher and door chime. The alarm consist of The door ajar switch, body control module, front door lock switch, power door lock switch. You need to check your fuse for turn signal and the door chime

My 98 ram's cab lights stay on and blink off and on while i am driving, also my front right turn signal light does not work, it is not the bulb? what do you think it is?

The reason ur cab lights go on and off is from the door sensors on the door frame are not sending the correct signal to the light. Ur turn signal is either ur turn signal switch on your steering column or your turn signal relay
