What is the independent variable and the dependent variable for hypothesis:if i put my plants from the shady side to the sunny side it will have more flowers too

well to have a proper hypothesis : you need a control group and a variable group , the control group of course would be plants that get all the sun from only one direction and receive the same food and water as all the others , your variable of course would be plants that were rotated say every ten minutes while in full sun , then the hypothesis would deem true if those variable plants produced more flowers !!

now me im an engineer id design a turn table that was solar powered so it only turn while receiving sunlite then id see if it produced more flowers than a static plant sitting still !!

What are non-toxic plants for cats?

The answer depends upon where you live, but generally that list is a VERY long list - it's easier to try the opposite direction and ask which plants are TOXIC to cats; that list is much smaller.

First, all plants are toxic to cats, humans, horses, etc... if given in too high a dose. The rest of this answer assumes ordinary exposure.

Most food plants are mostly non-toxic to cats, but onions and garlic and similar plants can be highly toxic to them. Most beans are non-toxic to cats, but chocolate beans and coffee beans can be toxic to them.

Most grasses and grains are non-toxic to cats.

But... some cats may show allergic reactions to unexpected plants, so never assume that anything is absolutely non-toxic to all cats - just as you can't assume that anything is absolutely non-toxic to all humans. Some cats may also have a metabolic quirk that renders them unusually sensitive to certain plants not ordinarily considered to be toxic to cats.

In short... since I assume that you're asking about a particular cat, probably one kept indoors, and you want to know what houseplants are safe to keep in the house... try to put together a list of plants YOU would like to have, then search for information on whether each plant on your list is considered to be TOXIC to cats, and cross it off the list if it is. When you've eliminated all the plants from your list that're known to be toxic, try the rest with your cat. If your cat doesn't deveop a health problem, you're probably OK.

What do wetlands do to animals and plants?

They provide ideal habitat and food for many creatures and plants. There are a great many plants that can live only in areas where there's enough water to support them. 'Marginal' plants need their roots under water at varying levels, while some plants grow entirely under water. Countless animals need wetlands to thrive, from huge moose to insects and tiny crustaceans that make up a vital part of the food chain. Wetlands also clean water of many modern contaminants, even heavy metals.

Are there any disadvantages to using artificial plants in my aquarium as opposed to live ones?

There are several disadvantages; in fact the only advantage I can think of is that they are easy to maintain. Real plants help fish survive in many ways, leading to the reasons why artificial plants are at a disadvantage.

Real plants can act as a source of food for your fish

Fake plants cannot keep your tanks carbon dioxide/nitrate levels low

Real plants fend off algae growth

Dont have money need food pellets for my bearded dragon for free

You do have other options besides pellets. http://www.anapsid.org/bearded.html is a great source of information. My beardie eats crickets and fresh fruit and veggies (make sure fruits and veggies are listed as "safe" and chopped or cut into appropriate sized pieces. For mine, I shred the fruits and veggies in a food processor so that he can not be picky and just eat one or 2 of the different foods. If you use wild caught insects or use plants from your outside around your home, make sure you are not getting poisonous insects and/or plants and the they have not been exposed to pesticides, weed killers, some types of fertilizers, or any other harmful chemicals.

Since I moved to a new apartment, the original fish in my aquarium died. I changed the fish and they live but the plants died slowly. Why? acidity of the water?

just like any other living things, plants and animals require certain conditions to thrive. for the fish it will be adequate food, enough air supply and room temperature. for the plant, adequate light and water is critical. you mentioned the acidity of the water, to be on the safe side make sure the PH of the water is neutral or near neutral at PH 7. if you meet all these conditions, your pet and plants should be fine. thanks
