Haier 32 in flat screen blue power light on dark screen

Hi power board might have shut down ,/ turn power of from the wall for a few minutes it might reset if this doesn't work u might have to get a technician to check it ..cheers

press on you remote repeatedly the keay "back", the screen will turn blue, then press "input" and select your option, it should work.

How old is your unit?
Probably your unit has leaky capacitor or shorted driver transistor.

Try to disconnect the set and a box if being used from power for a while and then power both back as either could cause this problem.

protron pltv-27 cm screen lights up then green comes on and turns red no signal.

Unplug the TV wait 10 Seconds and Plug it back in. Should work fine

From your description it is not clear unit shuts off or the blue power indicator stays on?
If you have blue light stays on there is nothing wrong wtih power supply.
You need to trouble shoot either on Y-sus or Main board.

the dm chip on the mother board has malfunctioned and needs replacing.

Unplug it from the wall, wait 2 minutes and plug it back in. if problem still exists, its probably the main pcb.
