Looks like it has it working but there is no light on sreen

The TV overheated at some point and cooked the heat detecting capacitor. It's a round one on the motherboard of the TV. If you don't know how to replace electronic parts, leave it to a pro or discard the TV. NEVER mount LCDs on a wall, they all overheat and this happens frequently.
