Question about Cell Phones
You need a cable that plugs into your phone and with a standard USB connection to your computer. That will connect your phone to the computer, and hopefully your computer will recognize that phone. Second, you need software that will be able to how was your pictures. Most computers already have some sort of picture software. Then follow the prompts, for the download. Or you can drag and drop using Explorer? That is if you have a Windows operating system. With little information, we can't assist you very well. What kind of phone do you have and what kind of computer do you have?

Your iPhone will be recognized as a massive storage device when it is connected to computer. You can enter into that folder directly and copy the photos from camera roll. 1. Use USB. Plug in it to connect your phone to PC. Find the "pictures" folder and move them into computer.
2. Wireless way. Use a free app named AirMore. It streams your media files into PC without USB. Directly download pictures from web.

Hi Jeanne, what's the model of your phone? I think it's a smartphone, right?
If it's an android, you can simply plug it to your computer with a cable and transfer pics you want to your computer.
If you're an iPhone user, you may need to transfer pics via iTunes or 3rd party iTransfer program. Moreover, you can use email or Dropbox app. There are quite a lot of methods to transfer files.
