You may have to try a different needle and different tension settings and also maybe some interfacing

Brother sewing machine model AS1430S not picking zig zag stich....on zig zag stich option it is only giving straight stich.....plz help

Try a brand new needle. If that doesn't work, then the machine may be slightly out of time. Search for sewing machine timing or take it for service.

Tension wrong on sewing genie , bottom stich just makes a huge mess

Begin with tension setting in the middle of it's range. If the stitching improves tighten until it's perfect. Ps "Sewing Genie" isn't a real sewing machine... apologies.

My stiches keep missing a stich

SKIPPED STITCHES
1.the needle is not inserted correctly
2.the needle is damaged
3.the wrong size needle is being used
4.the foot is not attached correctly
if these suggestions don't help the the machine could be out of
time & the machine would need to be taken to a sewing machine
shop to be checked

When I sew the back of the material thread is big loops. Is this because my bobbin is not set right?

well errr???? im a man talking to you !!!! how would i know whats wrong here???? i cant stich a button on???? but ???? me thinks its not so much the bobbin thats not set right its the needle thred tensions that are wrong there far to slack, whats happening is the needle is stiching but the bobbin is not pulling up all the exess slack, you have missed threded the sewing machine? missing out the thred tenshion bit,,that or it's just not tight,,, crank it up tighter and see if this helps pull it up more under the stiching ? if im wrong slap me !
