There are always manuals. Go on-line to the company's web site and send them an e-mail under "contacts" with the model number. 99.9% of the time, they will send you a new manual as an e-mail attachment, back to you within 3 days.

I was just given a DD50PC as a gift from a friend who did not have the accompanying instruction booklet. He told me to turn the unit on and let it work. I do not know what temp to set it at. It has to...

On a dehumidifer, you set the relative humidity, not temperature. Normally the humidity should be set within 40 to 60 percent humidity.

Click on this link for a copy of the manual for your machine.

Hope this helps you.

What is the proper setting for the Temp &Humidity?

Set the temp level at whatever point your home's temperature is now. Lower the humidity level to 35%. If you don't have an LED screen on your unit, set the manual control to maximum. This way, you will extract the maximum amount of humidity and make your home more comfortable.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Den 500p dehumidifier fan works but compressor does no activate

Phil, it may simply be a case that you have the humidity extraction level set to high. Try lowering it to 32 - 35%. If your unit is not equipped with an LED Screen, set the manual control to Maximum.

Also, remove and check the air intake filter, to see if it needs cleaning. And maintain at least a minimum of 12 - 18" of clear air space around the entire unit, while in operation.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

We lost our manual for ours and my husband cant remember the settings is there a place where i can read the settings or a manual i can download?

Unfortunately, Delonghi, for whatever reason, does not post the Owner's Manuals for their Dehumidifiers online. However, if you call Delonghi Customer Support 800-322-3848 they can furnish one to you. Probably by email attachment.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

My dehumidifier is not working properly. I do not know how it works, I do not have the manual. I have a temperaturesetting and a humidity level area. Do I need to set it on the humidity level to pull water...

Yes set unit humidity dial about half way or until it comes on. You need something to measure humidity. most of dials dont have a humidity reading. Set at about 50% Rus

LG has the owner's manual available online for this model. The website would not let me copy the shortcut for the manual so I will provide you with a link to their support page:

After you go to this page click on the "Owner's Manuals" link.

Then under product select dehumidifier.

Under Model No. type in LD65EL

Now click search.

You sould now be on the correct page that has your manual listed. You will want to click on the file that ends in .PDF. This is a downloadable version so you can print it on your computer. Make sure that you have adobe reader to read this file. If you do not here is a link to adobe reader:

Adobe Reader

Keep me posted. Also, please rate this solution when you get a chance. Thanks - Tech101
