Question about Washing Machines
Try turning the power off for 10 minutes at the wall and then try opening the door. See if any water is in the machine. A lot of machines wont let you open the door if there is water in it. Have a look for a drain outlet or filter panel down the bottom of the machine, some have cords or levers which allow you to open the door manually. Not knowing what make or model makes it difficult to say for sure. Lastly, the door lock itself may have failed. You may have to go in through the top of the machine to access the lock and try to manouver or force the door lock to open.
