This means the water level sensor is shorting out, or the flow sensor is closed, if you have a dial for water level turn it all the way up, or try on largest load setting, then switch off tap and see if it still goes into wash cycle.

There is a solenoid valve which you should hear click just before the water flows in, try to start a wash cycle and listen for a click or clunk sound, if no sound, solenoid is not opening, may be loose wire or corroded, if there is a click then either solenoid has broken away from actuator or you blockage is between the inlet hose and solenoid.

Errpr code 4e on samsun aqua jet vrt

A 4E code on Samsung washers means that the washer isn't filling properly or the sensor isn't detecting the water flow. First, make sure that the water shut-off valves are open. Next make sure that the drain hose outlet is positioned above the fill level of the washer. (This avoids the water being suctioned out of the tub.)

Turn off the shut-off valves and disconnect the fill hoses from the washer and the valves. Clean the filters in the washer and at the valves. Reconnect the hoses to the valve and place a bucket under the other end. Open the valves and check that you have good water flow from both hoses. You may want to replace the hoses. (Some washer fill hoses are designed to clamp shut if they detect a leak. This anti-burst feature will reduce the water flow to a trickle. Since the washer fill sensor detects the amount of water in the tub within 8 minutes, that will trip the error.)

If the washer isn't filling and there is plenty of water coming from the water line, the fill valve probably failed in the closed position. If the water level is rising, then the sensor is probably faulty.

Please add a comment with the full model number of your washer. Then I may be able to point you to the parts. If the washer is under warranty, contact Samsung.

I hope this helps.

FH IS FLASHING ON THE WASHER AND IT HAD STOPPED WORKING ONLY 5 MNUTES INTO ITS CYCLE

Hello,

The FH error code means the computer on the control board didnt detect any water entering the washer..sometimes it doesnt detect the water entering because the filter screens on the water inlet valve are clogged with sediment and water is having a hard time entering the washer.

The filter screens can be checked by turning off water at the faucets and disconnecting the fill hoses from the back of the machine and pop the scrrens out of where the hoses connect at the washer and check for blockage in them. If they are found to be clean check the water coming out of the hoses before connecting them back to the washer...if the screens are clean and water pressure is good out of the hoses the part of the washer called the FLOW METER would need to be replaced

Washer fills extremely slow. Hoses are fine water

Hi, check to see if there's good water volume coming through the hoses attached to the washing machine. If there is, check to see if the screens inside the water-inlet valve are clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If they're clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, you should completely replace the valve.

The washer keeps getting the water in even when the washer is not in use. there is constant water drifting along the rubber ring of the front door into the container

check fill hoses screens for silt, dirt also at the water valve screen. if dirty clean and replace the screens at hoses and clean screen at valve. if this wont work make sure water pressure is at least 20psi. if it is replace water valve if problem not solve or continue.

Wont fill with water at all

This sounds like the water mixer valve needs to be replaced.
Its the part the fill hoses screw onto at the back of the washer
Unscrew the fill hoses at the back and run water in washer to verify the
water is there.

Washer wont take water. When start it will go to wash cycle. I have to get a water hose and fill it before washing

you might check the water inlet switch this is where the water hoses hook up you have to take off the front cover I don't know what make of machine this is or I could help you get to the switch. Before you do anything take off the hoses from the back of the washer and check to see if the screens are clean or clogged.

Washer will not fill up or use cold water

Check the water inlet valve. Remove the water supply hoses and check the small screens inside the water inlet valve. Make sure they are clean of rust or debris. The solenoids can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty solenoid. I will attach a photo for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Washing machine wont fill

hmmm...wool requires cold water...I'm guessing that first the hot water and now the cold water solenoid valves have become clogged with sediment. test by turning off water. then loosen the hose connection to each inlet in back of washer. then slowly open water valves and let water pour into wash tub if hose will reach, otherwise pour into a bucket. if water comes out of hose, then look for metal screens at hose connections to washer and clean those. if still no water through solenoids (after re-connecting water hoses) then may need to disassemble solenoids and clean those too.
