Check the freewheeling capacitor used. It can be located at very near to HOT; will be connected to its collector lead to ground. If this capacitor is open / have loose solder terminals, this might happen. Check it. Usually it will be of the capacitance value from 3500PF2000VDC. to 9700PF 2000VDC.
Refer any circuit diagram to CRT CTV. You'll get an idea.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. 1990 Softail Custom, engine turns over, all lights work, getting fuel, will not start.....replaced battery, coil, plugs, voltage regulator. Very FRUSTRATED at this point. Please help.

You did not mention if you have spark at the plugs. I'd be pulling the plugs, connecting the leads, and making sure I had a hot blue spark. If you,ve got spark and fuel, it's supposed to run.
There are a lot of reasons that it won't, and we'll need some history to try to trouble shoot. What happened IMMEDIATELY before it stopped working?

I have replaced the magneto on my quad bike but the voltage regulator gets extremely hot. what is the reason for this?

The regulator does get hot normally you can glue a cooling grill yo it to help cool it, basically build a heat sink out of aluminium for it. put it where it will get some air blowing over it. As can example you will notice on a Harley that the regulator is mounter in front of the engine where it gets lots of air blowing over it.

I have a 30" flat screen coby TFTV3229 that will not turn on. i've tried to plug into another outlet and still not on. the blue light not on. the fuse not burn and also the electrolytic capacitor that i...

This TV has a lot of issues in the hot side of the power supply, you can replace the board or try to trouble shoot it yourself...The large cap your talking about almost never goes bad, Ive repaired thousands of TVs and think I have replaced it a couple times. See if you have about 165 volts DC across that cap, if you do then test your stand by voltage and if its ok then the PWR-ON voltage, if both them are ok you have an issue in the power board and I think you will find this, if you don't have the PWR on but have standby voltage then its the main board that is bad...Good luck!!

2004 jeep grand cherokee laredo keeps blowing the fuse for the parking lights and taillights

If it "keeps" lowing the fuse, there can be only one reason for it...you "keep" replacing the fuse without diagnosing the circuits to find out WHY the fuse is blowing in the first place.
When a fuse blows, there is a reason for it. If you do not find the reason and correct it, the fuse will continue to blow.

Please also review this article: Where's The Fuse?

With all of that said, the first thing I would check is all of the light bulbs. Sometimes the bulbs get really hot and melt inside and it causes the metal contacts in the bulbs to touch each other and short the circuit out. This is especially true if you can replace the fuse and everything seems to work ok for a while. They will all work until the offending bulb gets hot and "POOF" there goes the fuse again.

This condition can be hard to diagnose since the short circuit usually goes away as soon as the bulb cools off for a few seconds. In cases like this, what I usually recommend to save time and money is to replace all of the bulbs.

If it is fuse #6 (15 Amp) in the Central Junction Block that keeps blowing, it only powers the tail lamps, licence plate lamps, front park lamps and the front side marker lamps. The cost of replacing all of these bulbs is a LOT cheaper than an hour of diagnostic time at most shops. If this does not fix the problem, then you will have to trace all of the wires going to all of these bulbs to find out which one is shorting and where it is shorting. This could turn out to be very time-consuming and expensive, but at least, you will have eliminated the likelyhood that it is caused by a bulb.

I need to know where I can get a fuse for a Vizio TV?

Hello
Fuses can be bought from most of the electronics sparepart shops. There will be markings on its end caps, about its rating and voltage. Can be of any company's type, provided the voltage and other ratings marked should be the same. There are slow-blow and fast-blow types available. In TVs, slow-blow type should be used. But before replacing a new fuse, check whether there is any reason for the present fuse to blow up. Without any reason, no fuse will blow up. OK.

Hitachi TV model C21-rm25s-192 power supply transistor and fuse blow off just after replacement. other components of the power supply seem to be ok. what should I do?

The SMPS - power supply is critical of the generated frequency , load trip and high voltage. So if the power transistor has blown then you must check the reason for the failure before the new one is put into the circuit. Check the DC voltage, check the rectifier, storage capacitor and the frequency oscillator. check for short in the SM tranformer , feedback optocouplers or a possible short in the main circuit.
