Not certain, but you could try stopping services running while it does it, such as shutting down active programs, virus checkers etc.

Why does System Mechanic Pro 14 freeze before it totally completes optimizing disc drive. May be 30% or 70%. Have had running 6 hrs. and still not complete and has not advanced for 2 hours. Sounds as...

I would cancel it, then run CCleaner, then run SMP14 again (if you want to)

I have found CCleaner to be the best Registry and Temporary File cleaner. It has a free version, which is what I use on each Windows Account, every few months.
Configuring:
On the Cleaner/Windows tab, I uncheck "Thumbnail Cache".
On the Cleaner/Applications Tab, I uncheck SUPERAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes, Windows Defender, MS Management Console, and MS Search (if they are present).
Running:
Start CCleaner.
Cleaner - Analyze, then Run Cleaner (click OK)
Registry - Scan for Issues, then Fix selected issues (Yes, Save, Fix All Selected Issues, OK, Close)(Repeat the Registry process until no more issues are found, or the same ones are found each time)
Click the red X to close Ccleaner.
Good luck.

Hello i have an HP windows 7 i turned it on and it goes to blue hp screen and freezes up

A blue screen error usually comes up on Windows 7 when there is a serious hardware or software issue that may be causing Windows to Shut Down unexpectedly. At times, a message may also come up on your screen saying "Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer."

To troubleshoot this issue, you may need to try out multiple troubleshooting options to detect whether the issue is with your hardware or software and to resolve the same as per the recommended procedure.

To know more about your troubleshooting options to get rid of blue screen error, you need to refer to the following Microsoft and HP support pages:

It might be a software incompatibility issue. Try uninstalling and re-installing system mechanic.

Troubleshooting Asus eax1950pro graphics card

I would try removing the driver, then shut the PC off remove the graphics card and then reset it back into the board. I would then boot up the PC and reload your graphic drivers. Some thing else you might want to consider is updating your BIOS file on the motherboard to the latest version. An out of date BIOS can lack support for features you might need.

I hope this helps,

Thanks for using FixYa,

Image freezes

My computer freezes every time I use my camera. What can I do?
trnsp.gif Answer Normally if a camera freezes after a few seconds, it is related to the USB chipset you are running. Some chipsets do not have enough bandwidth to support a camera. Make sure you are plugging the camera directly into the computer while testing and unplug any other USB devices you may have except a keyboard or a mouse.
To resolve the issue, we recommend using the USB troubleshooting steps detailed in Troubleshooting USB Issues.
If you have the same issue but do not have the USB chipsets discussed in the document, please make sure you have the latest version of the Logitech camera software AND the latest version of DirectX.
You may also want to slow down the hardware acceleration. To do this, right click on the desktop and choose Properties. Click on Advanced/troubleshoot. Lower the hardware acceleration, apply any changes and try the camera again.
If you are running Windows XP, please make sure you have the latest sound card, video card and Windows XP updates. You can get the sound card and video card updates from the card manufacturers or PC manufacturers web site. You can get the Windows XP updates from Microsoft. With the release of any new operating system, we suggest that you check for updates to the operating system and hardware drivers. These updates can resolve many video streaming issues.
