I have a flat screen Samsung TV, I am not sure what my son sprayed on our TV as he said he was cleaning it, but now it turns off and on. I am also not able to change the channel or volume. It is stuck on...

You need to qualify what was sprayed. Try using a mild isopropyl mix and an air duster can. Who knows if thatll help. Depends on what was sprayed and where on the unit.

Son sprayed cleaner on tv.

I have not a clue what to tell you, but doubt the cleaner is the cause of this. In any case the TV is so old you will not be able to get parts.

My mate cleaned my sony bravia 3d tv screen with ' Mr Sheen ' spray and now the screen seams to always have oily splotches no mater how many times i clean it, the picture seams not the same

It ate some of your coating off of the panel. Sorry, your stuck with it.
Never use cleaners on your flat screen. Luke warm water and a lent free rag is the way to go.

I made a normal pot of coffee this morning. The clean light came on, so I cleaned it. The coffee pot is only 2-3 months old. I know the process of cleaning it can take up to an hour. After about 30...

I think there is a real problem with the whole cleaning system with the Mr. Coffee Pot. I have one and after making only a few pots of coffee, the light starts blinking. I have cleaned it over and over and still get the same alert. My son had the same problem you have with his, it wouldn't finish the cleaning cycle. He'd had it awhile and ended up tossing it because it was beyond the warranty and store told him too bad. I've had other Mr Coffee makers and like them, but they didn't have the irritating "clean" alert OR the obnoxious BEEPING to let you know it's done brewing. If I knew this was going to be an issue - I would never have bought it. Why do they have to screw around with a good thing - more buttons and thing cycles to cause problems.

Mold inside the home unit

You can use a spray bottle with 100% bleach in it to kill the mold. After spraying the gunk, you can put on some rubber gloves (those dishwashing ones are a good choice) and use some paper towels to wipe up as much of the mold as you can reach.

Spray more bleach on the parts you're cleaning to keep sanitizing the A/C unit and wipe everything dry. You should put all the stuff you used for cleaning it up (paper towels, gloves, etc.) into a plastic trash bag,

I'd also recommend that you do this when any small children and pets aren't in the room you've got the A/C in, and also wear a face mask to keep from breathing in anything that could cause a respritory ailment.

You can also use some Lysol disenfectant to give the whole unit a nice going over, once you're done, to be sure that you've killed any active mold spores. It might be good to give the unit a once-a-month cleaning to prevent the growth of mold in the future.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Ok you have to unscrew the screws on the upper backpanal of the tv to access the inside of the screen(be carefull yhe mirror is connected to this panal!) one back is off wipe and c;ean inside of screen and wile its open you might as well clean the mirror and the lenses too! you will notice a better picture! now just screw panal back into place and your done! dont be scared its not hard to do at all! Now you better move it before you husband gets home!

Wrong Chemical Cleaner on 60 inch DLP TV

Hi There,

Unfortunately, I think you may be out of luck. If you spray a screen directly you are taking a chance at killing your TV. You're actually pretty lucky that it still works. Some chemicals can eat right through or seep through edges and corners and ruin the life of your TV. I am not sure if Mr Clean contains alcohol, but that is the last thing you want on any screen. I would suggest trying to clean it off with an alcohol free solution for HDTV screens only or calling Mitsubishi immediately and see what they have to say.. Here is a similar product for what I am talking about:

Got wet

Most likely he sprayed the screen, and the fluid dripped down onto the board where the pushbuttons are. The pushbuttons them became contaminated and shorted out inside. Usually, the damage done will not be reversed by drying the set out. He should not feel bad, though, because we see adults doing that all the time. The TV has not "had it", since it is quite easy to correct. The board should be cleaned and any defective pushbuttons replaced by a qualified tech.
