Question about HP Touchsmart 310-1125f Windows 7 4gb Ram 20" 720p Display 750gb Hdd
When we turn the computer on the screen stays black, you can hear everything starting up. it was working for a while after leaving alone for 3 days but after using it for like 3 hours it went black and now there is no display at all it has an DA0NZ2MB6A0 Aronia motherboard
Hearing fans and hard drive spin up doesn't necessarily mean system is working - just without video. If you heard a POST beep or the Windows Startup sound that would be different - and good. Is there any video on the screen at all, even just a blinking cursor in upper left of display? If not, your problem is probably hardware such as ram or motherboard. If this system has a VGA or HDMI output to connect to another monitor or TV would be a good check, but AIO system usually don't have that option. Other than that, and this is a shot in the dark: Ensure the system is off, disconnect the power plug, and hold the power button in for 30 sec for a power reset. Then plug in system and try powering it up again. If no go, you may have a hardware problem and will need a PC Tech. Hopefully it is just loose ram.

it seems that youre monitor has a dry solder problem, try tapping it if the picture resumes to normal for a while than get it resoldered from a technician. if it soesnot solve problem than look out for a burnt resistance.

I have repaired an HP 1702 monitor that had similar symptoms by replacing the capacitors on the power supply board but you have to have some electronic knowledge and do some soldering if you can buy the replacement capacitors($10+/-) from a supply store. They (at least 1) will be swollen up on the ends and may have a tar-like substance leaking from them. It is best to replace them all (may be 4 depending on the model).

it sounds like your mointer is ****, i highly doubt the game caused it. try another mointer, or sell that one on ebay and buy a new one

SOURCE: My HP monitor was working
Sounds like your monitor is going dead. If its under warranty that would be the best way to go. Specifically it sounds like the power inverter is dead or there is a busted capacitor.
