Right will tighten it up Left takes it off
I had a real hard one and I put a block of wood or even vice grips to hold the blade from turning and used a pipe on my wrench to put more pressure and got it off that way. Squirt a little WD40 on the bolt as well may help Be careful you don't bust the socket. with too much pressure. I even heated a bolt with my torch to get one off.
