You need to go to http://support.logitech.com/software/unifying and download the software, then install it. It will let you pair your mouse with your receiver, and will let you add a logitech keyboard too, if you wish. If you are using Linux instead of Windows search for a program called Solaar.

Answered from the easy chair on my Samsung Note 3.

Why does my logitech mouse pointer shake so much when it gets close to an 'action' box?

You should check your settings for the logitech software and also in control panel for mouse. Look for something that says snap to point. What happens is if you have that set the mouse will jump when it is close to a clickable object.

Because you don't list what model Logitech cordless mouse you have, look in this list to see if yours is on it. If it is, click on the link and download and install the driver. This download has the latest drivers and SetPoint software for Logitech cordless, wireless and Bluetooth pointing devices (mouse).

Check to see if the drivers are still installed, it could be with a recent update they got uninstalled or a file was misplaced. Try going to he Logitech Website and reinstalling the drives you can click here for a direct link to the software/driver download section:

This is a common problem, go to the Logitech website (www.logitech.com) and download the Reconnect utility. Follow the steps given to you in the software and it should work fine! If not, is the mouse fully charged?

Looks like a problem with the secure mode. Please try the following steps to resolve th is:

a) Press Ctrl + Alt + F12.
b) Press connect button on the receiver.
c) Press connect button on the keyboard.
d) Press escape key.
