I have used 3 times my verification code to change password. So I can not sign in my ymail account.

As you are not able to receive the verification code, it is recommended to check if the mobile number you have entered is correct. If you think it is correct, the next thing you can do is to contact your mobile carrier and see if they have blocked any message sent to you by Yahoo.

If the issue still persists, the other option you have at hand is to ask Yahoo to send you the security code on your alternate email address that you may have mentioned in your Yahoo profile. The following link can be useful:

If you are not able to receive code on your alternate email address too, you may need to answer the secret questions associated with your Yahoo account. To know how to do this, the following link can be helpful:

Have a problem with login Yahoo and getting message saying "You are logging from device we won't recognise you" and I forgot my answer for secret question.

The prompt you are receiving is called "Second sign-in verification," and it is designed to protect your account from unauthorized access.

There are several ways to confirm your identity:

Send a code to mobile phone or non-Yahoo! alternate email address:

  1. Go to the Yahoo! sign-in page (http://login.yahoo.com).
  2. Enter your Yahoo! ID and password, then click Sign In.
    • You may need to enter the security CAPTCHA code. (If you do not see a randomly generated code, simply proceed to the next step.)
  3. Select Receive Code and enter your non-Yahoo! alternate email address or mobile number.
    • Note: A code will be sent to the location you entered; make sure you do not navigate away from the page where you entered your alternate email address or mobile number.
  4. Once you receive this code, you will need to enter the code on the page where you entered your alternate email address or mobile number.
    • You may be required to update your current password.

Note: At this time Yahoo! alternate email cannot be used to confirm your identity. If your alternate email address is a Yahoo! email, please use your mobile number or security question.

Verify your security question:

  1. Go to the Yahoo! sign-in page.
  2. Enter your Yahoo! ID and password, then click Sign In.
    • You may need to enter the security CAPTCHA code.
  3. Provide the answer for the security question displayed and click Verify Answer.
    • You may be required to update your current password.

If you do not have a non-Yahoo! alternate email address, valid mobile number, or cannot verify your security question, you may need to contact Yahoo! to confirm your identity. Note: When filling out the form, please select Yahoo! Account under "Product."

Facebook is asking for a security code. Sent code on a dead phone number. WHAT DO I DO?

It would have been a good idea to update your details before you disposed of the old number. Not sure there is any other way apart from asking them to verify with your email address.

My old sim card wont work in my new phone

If your new cell phone is with a different phone service provider than the the old cell phone then the SIM card won't work in the new phone.
When you place a new or a existing SIM card from another phone provider into your mobile phone and it asks for a Security code then :-
This phone is locked to the original mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for this phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone.
Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in this phone or sign up with another phone provider using this phone.

You could ring the phone provider and ask for the unlock security code because you are going overseas and wish to use your phone with a prepaid SIM card from another country. This maybe a free service.
The other way to get your phone unlock is to use a phone unlocking company on the Internet, they usually charge a couple of Dollars for their services. Use Google and search for "Security unlocking code” companies in your area.
You can also try this WEB site :-
http://www.mobileunlockguide.com/mobile-phone/
The IMEI number is unique the each mobile phone.
The number is printed on the label under the battery.
You can also get the IMEI number by entering this on your phone
*#06# It will then display your IMEI number and you may also get a unique global serial number. Your IMEI number should be 15 digits.
