Question about Garden
It's possible that the solenoid is OK but the wires from the battery to the solenoid, or the solenoid to the starter have failed. I'd suggest that you check the battery terminals for clean & no corrosion, then use a continuity meter to check the wires. A fast test would be to jump the heavy wire terminals on the solenoid. If you get nothing, then one of the wires has a problem.
