THANK you William. It is a PFAFF Creative 1473

unfortunatly it did not show on general display. try this procedure first, switch off the machine and remove cord from the wall and leave for few minutes, plug it back to the wall, hold button 47 and then switch machine on holding button 47 for next about 20sec. release button 47, leave for 20sec, switch machine off, wait agin 20sec, switch machne on - if it not reset itself correctly, then go to the pfaff site:http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/ select your country and then on right hand up the top, from "suport and updates" select "machine support" then follow to your exact model, download software and firmware upgrades and follow instructions to update your software on the machine. if machine still fail to perform, unfortunately seafrch for closest repair shop as this will indicate computer hardware failure...

Can't get machine to transmit pattern. Now I have a bigger problem I uninstalled program for my machine and it won't reinstall. It stops and says permission denied please help I am about to go crazy.

Disconnect the machine from the computer and try again to install. If it still fails you can try several other ways.
You may need to move all your saved patterns to a jump drive or external hard drive.
Then use Windows Explorer to find and remove all left over files of the program from your hard drive, then try to reinstall. Good luck!

Error Message This embroidery card cannot be used with this machine

Is it a pre-loaded card - or one you add patterns to?
If its one you add patterns to, make sure the pattern isn't too large for the machine. EG if machine does 4"x4" and you've loaded a 5"x7" pattern, try down-sizing the pattern/ breaking it up into smaller sections to load & sew

I had the same problem and after buying a new card, found out that you get that message if the pattern you are trying to transfer is too big. reduce the size of the pattern and see if that works

Transfering a design pattern from online to the PED Basic program

Have you tried saving them to your documents after you have extracted the file first. What size are the patterns. If they are too big they will not transfer properly.

Hoop arm won't slide to start position

You can try re-loading the program, it is possible the static spark has corrupted one of the chips if this is the case and the re-loading does not fix the problem then I am afraid you need the services of a sewing machine tech.

WHITE 4400

Did you accidently clear it in the Navigator screen? If so you just erased the pre-installed patterns. These can be re-installed by using the CD that came with your machine. They are all on the disk, you may have to load each pattern individually but they are on the disk.

Cancelling a transmission

You must remember your machine acts like a printer. It will only accept another pattern once the current one is finished. A common fault amongst many users are that they send another pattern while the machine is busy with the current pattern. The correct procedure would be to cancel the current pattern, before sending another one.

You do this by clicking on "exit". Another window will open and ask you if you want to terminate the current transmision to the machine.

If you send one pattern over the current one, your machine is capable of queing and the only wat to resove the issue is by switching the machine off and leaving it off for 60 seconds and resend your nwe pattern

Hope this help you
