Sound stream stealth series red protection indicator light has come on, how do I go about resolving this issue?

COLEMAN INVERTER PMP1200 JUST BEEPS WHEN TURNED ON

It is most likely the low voltage alarm. Suggest connecting when the car is running with no load (110 volts not connected). If the alarm continues turn the unit off and on to reset.

Hope this helps?

Inverter Protection Features
• Short Circuit Protection. The inverter will automatically shut down until short is removed.
• Low Voltage Alarm. An alarm will sound when the voltage from the battery discharges to 10.5 +/- 0.5 volts DC. This is an indication that the battery needs to be recharged.
• Over Voltage Protection. The RED LED Indicator Light will illuminate and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the input exceeds 16.5 +/- 1 volt DC.
• Under Voltage Protection. The RED LED Indicator Light will illuminate and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the input is less than 10.0 +/- 0.5 volts DC.
• Overload Protection. The RED LED Indicator Light will illuminate and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the continuous draw of the equipment being operated exceeds 1200 watts or the surge draw of the equipment exceeds 2400 watts.
• Thermal Protection. The RED LED Indicator Light will illuminate and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the circuit temperature exceeds 150° F

I have a kenwood subwoofer, the red light comes on but I am getting no sound, help?!

red light is usually bad like protection mode unless it is supposed to be red. amps are always green and red is protection indicator normally. look it up for your amp and if you bought it used you got ripped off

I have Netflix on my iPad and have been watching movies by streaming, but lately they have been stopping every 5 to 10 minutes with a message that I need to check Netflix website and the number 1016. Help?

Straight from Netflix:

The Netflix App error 1016 while attempting to stream usually indicates an Internet connectivity issue. To resolve this issue, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Powercycle your home network
  1. Turn off your device and unplug both your router and modem for 20-30 seconds.
  2. Plug in your modem and wait until no new indicator lights are blinking on.
  3. Plug in your router and wait until no new indicator lights are blinking on.
  4. Turn on your device and attempt to stream again.

it should have a red light on if it is in protection mode. If it does not have the red light then buy a new amp and check all you wiring

Hi,

The Standby/Power light of the TV blinks when there is any internal malfunction in the TV. The self-diagnostic function of the TV will cause the STANDBY light to blink or flash when the television detects an issue. The number of times the STANDBY light flashes corresponds to a specific issue.

Few examples are given below; some of the issues may be resolved without the need for service.
1 blink / 2 blinks / 5 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a power-related problem with your set.
3 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a power-related problem with your set. The set will need to be serviced to allow a technician to determine the specific issue that needs to be repaired. If the power light flashes three times in sequence in a Lamp TV, the lamp cover is not securely attached. Reattach the lamp cover to resolve this issue.
4 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a back light or lamp power problem.
6 blinks: - This indicates that there is some kind of audio problem with your set.
7 blinks: - This indicates that there is a temperature problem with your set. Please check to make sure that the air vents on the sides and back of the set are not blocked or clogged and there is adequate ventilation around the television. We recommend that you check and clean the vents periodically to make sure the set receives adequate air flow. If the problem continues, the set will need to be serviced.
8 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a video-related problem with your set. If the flash sequence is not listed above or the light continues to flash, follow the steps below to perform a power reset:
Try the following steps to check if the issue can be resolved.
Turn off the television.
Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet.
Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.

If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.

If the issue continues to occur, service may be required.

My printer is giving me an E and a flashing red light in the exclamation light

Reviewing the manual for this device, I don't see an E as an error condition, however flashing lights with an exclamation are indicative of one of two issues. Either the printer is out of paper (or has a paper jam) or the printer believes you are out of ink. Recommend trying to remove/reinstall the printer cartridge and see if the problem goes away. If not you may want to try another printer cartridge if possible. A good resource for diagnosing and resolving printer errors with your device can be found at this website:

More than likely, your speakers are wired up in such a manner that they are creating more resistance than what the amp can handle. That's usually what puts amps into protect mode.

Car speakers should be 8ohm's resistance, but if you're bridging and running a dual voice-coil sub or two subs in series... you could have inadvertedly wired it up so the amp is seeing 4 or 16 ohms of resistance? (depending on which way you went)

Try removing the speaker wire completely, then turn the amp/car on and see if it still goes into protect.

PROTECTION LIGHT

Disconnect the speaker wires and the RCA cables from the amp. If the protection light still comes on, the output transistors have likely failed.
