Question about Dryers
Check circuit breaker in the main breaker box. Turn off and reset. If it "pops" again you have a serious wiring problem, or short in the Dryer. Otherwise, the element has failed, or the High heat protection device has stopped the unit to prevent fire. You may need appliance repair, or if their estimate by telephone is high you may want to consider a lightly used replacement, or if considering new, now is the time.
