We bought a used security system and never got the pin is there any way to bypass the pin

i know what issue is.. it happen to my car, i found a module that you can install yourself and it will bypass the security system.., check it out they have great customer service .. I bought it and my car runs great to this day. hope this helps

Were the lock and unlock wires connected to the system?
Lock: Gray/White (-) @ 40 PIN CONN OF BCM PIN 27

Do you have a Smartpass key or a regular key? What bypass are you using for the remote start system?

The secondary chirp alerts you to an open trigger, probably the hood pin switch since the car is not remote starting. Check under the hood for a broken or bent out of place hood pin switch. Make the adjustment so the pin makes contact with the hood when the hood is closed.

The security code cannot be bypassed but possibly the information below will help

? Access codes

• The security code, supplied with the phone, helps to protect your phone against unauthorized use. The

preset code is 12345.

• The PIN code, supplied with the SIM card, helps to protect the card against unauthorized use.

• The PIN2 code, supplied with some SIM cards, is required to access certain services.

• PUK and PUK2 codes may be supplied with the SIM card. If you enter the PIN or PIN2 code incorrectly three

times in succession, you will be asked for the PUK or PUK2 code. If you do not have them, contact your local

service provider.
Select Menu > Settings > Security settings to set how your phone uses the access codes and security settings.

You actually have two problems; you won't just need the pin code, but will need to know at which location the pin code was set.

The system is designed to make stolen Nuvi's useless and cannot be bypassed without internal hardware changes which will cost more than replacing the unit. Unless you can obtain the pin code AND take the Nuvi to the location it was originally entered then it's totally unusable.

Chalk it down to experience and resell yours as being for spares or repairs.

find the 5 pin relay run a jumper wire from pin 30 to pin 87

find the black box under the dash, open it up and use the key inside

If you do not have the key fob that came with the bike (security system) then go to a dealer to have them reset it and get the key fob for it

According to the c550 owners manual, the only way to bypass the PIN request is to drive to the security location where the PIN was set. When you are at that location the GPS will NOT ask for a PIN. Since you bought the GPS at a pawn shop, you probably don't know the security location either.

In that case, according to the owners manual, you'll have to send the unit back to Garmin to be unlocked. Go to www.garmin.com

I know you won't like my solution but its the only solution available.

Alternatively call the person you bought this from and ask them the codes.
