Possibly, Depends on your DIY skills. You may need an exact replacement fan. If the fan or it's bearings are the problem. It's possible that something (animal?) got into it. Or something is loose and blower wheel is blocked from turning.

I have a harbor breeze ceiling fan on a dimmer

You have 3 options. You can connect the fan blue and the fan black to the red ceiling wire. Then you will need to control the fan and light with the strings. The wall switch will turn off everything. Option 2 is make sure that there is a switch wired to the black ceiling wire. If there is a switch I would check to make sure the switch is working. Option 3 is to purchase a remote control unit for both and leave the wall switch to shutoff the whole unit. Hope this helps.

I did not make a diagram when replacing the light switch

Red from switch goes to two blacks, blue from switch goes to two blacks and the black wire goes thru top of light and attaches to blue fan light wire. If you want a good fan, look for blade pitch(13 degree or higher)Or CFM's above 5500 on high.

Well i have a problem the fridge is working 100% but our freezer is not working right it is cold at bottom half but it is not working at top half like i put ice thing in it the water fast freeze tomoro...

If I read the manual right the red light indicator your seeing is the exlamation point above the fast freeze button. This is telling you that the freezer compartment temp is to high.

There can be multiple reasons for this:
1. Evaporator fan not running (Check fan by depressing door closed plunger for the light switch) The fan should be on and light off.

2. An unseen block of ice over the evaporator coils due to an automatic defrosting probelm. If you can determine that there really is ice on the evaporator coils, perform the manual defrost procedures I described in my initial response. If after doing this manual defrost things return to normal for a few days and then you see the high temp indicator again there is for sure and automatic defrosting problem.

3. Automatic Defrost Problem (Causes)
a. Defrost control failure
b. Defrost control heating element failure
c. Temp sensor failure or Bi-metal 60 Deg F thermostat failure

4. Condenser fan not running in the borrom rear of the unit. (Check to see that the fan is running by removing the fiberboard rear cover.)

5. Condenser coils blocked with lint (Check the coils when you inspect the condensor fan for operation.) Clean both the coils and the fan.

6. Thermistor failure (measures temp and has a resistive output) in the freezer.

7. Compressor not running (Causes)
a. PTC relay
b. Run capacitor
c. Conpressor failure

8. Compressor running but not cooling
Check to see that one of the copper lines line is hot to the touch. If it is not hot the causes can be low freon level, clogged freon drier, damaged capillary tube.

These are all the things that can cause your current symptom.

Indicator power n lamp light red together

There is an internal fault condition which is stopping the unit from powering on.
It could be a blockage of the fan, a loose connector, a power supply partial failure, a temperature sensor has died etc.

If you plan to throw it away, rather than get it fixed, then have a look inside for any obvious fan blockages. First make sure the unit is unplugged and has been off for an hour or so.

I have a paragon 8145-20 defrost timer. do you wire the compressor to the timer? I cant seem to find a wiring diagram on how to wire this correctly

Link below has wiring diagrams and wiring manuals for 240V 8145-20
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#defrost

I am not expert installing defrost timers.
According to information from Paragon, 8145 is for hot gas defrosting. 8140 series are time initiated, and pressure-or-temperature terminated.
Wiring diagram does not show compressor wired to timer.

The cycle works like this:
Timer is running but defrost is not switched ON.
Fan is ON.
Timer switches ON and activates defrost cycle.
Fan turns OFF. Hot gas valve turns ON for defrosting.
Cycle limit switch is temperature or pressure sensitive.
Cycle limit switch reaches trip point, timer switches OFF.
Hot gas valve turns OFF. Fan turns ON.
So fan is off during defrost cycle.
Hot gas valve turns ON when timer switches ON.
Timer is switched OFF by pressure-or-temperature limit switch.

Fan with remote won't work with wall switch. I

I just recently purchased a hunter ceiling fan w/light and remote. Had it installed and wall switch would not work, only remote. I contacted Hunter company directly about this problem and I was told that they redesigned their fans with remotes so that only the remote works for turning off power to fan. The person who made that made that BRILLIANT change should be fired. So to those of you who own a newer hunter an product with a remote ne your wall switch will not work tat s te reason why.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525. This morning my TV would not turn on so I pressed the rest button. After the Timer light stopped blinking I pressed power. I could hear the fans start than a somewhat loud...

the status light blinking red means a fan (the unit hs 4 of them) has failed. you need to determine which one. use the self diagnostic function:
Error Code Operational Check
Note:
The TV must be in “Shut Down” and not manually switched Off, to perform the Error Code Operational
Check. When the TV is switched Off, the code automatically resets to “12” No Error.
Press the front panel “DEVICE” and “MENU” buttons at the same time, and hold for 5 seconds to
activate the Error Code Operational Check. The LED will then flash denoting a two digit Code.
Note: The front panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.
• The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.
• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second.
• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.
Example: If the Error Code is “32”, the LED will flash three times, pause, and then flash two times.
• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.

and read the code.
35= Chassis Fan failure
36 =Exhaust (Back Cover) or Lamp Ballast Fan failure
37= Engine (DMD or Lamp) Fan failure

Red flashing light on ps3

When the light flashes red and you ALSO see the green light on too this indicates that the system is getting hot and you need to switch off and let it cool down.

if you switch on get the beeps see yellow light briefly then flashing red only this indicates failure.

The system has shut itself off to stop further damage ..... supposedly caused by getting hot .. maybe fan failed .... only thing that can be done is to contact Sony for repair or replacement.

I know this post is old but thought the info could help others ...... I hope you returned your PS3.

Printer problems

All four lights flashing indicated a problem only a service center can repair.

Press the Go button and a new set of indicators will appear.

The yellow toner light only indicates a fuser unit failure.
The yellow drum light only indicates a laser unit failure.
The yellow toner light AND the red paper light indicates a main motor failure.
The red paper light only indicates a PCB failure (Printed Circuit Board).

The only thing you can do at this point is to actually UNPLUG the power cord for 24 hours and then retry or if that fails take it to a service center or better yet go pay the $89 for a new unit.

Hope this helps.
