I have a Simplicity S07 DecoMate and I cannot get the bobbin thread to pick up.

If the machines are very similar, then they most likely thread the same. Usually, the only difference is that sometimes one will have a few extra fancy stitches or extra feature.

Be sure to install a brand new needle. (Be sure the needle is inserted correctly--the flat side faces a particular direction.) Check that the bobbin is installed and threaded correctly in the bobbin case (is it turning the correct direction). If this doesn't resolve the issue, the machine has most likely been knocked out of time--most often by hitting a pin or a particularly thick seam. You can search online for sewing machine timing or take it for service.

Could you tell me what plug in ports i need for X540 or 530- on my desktop

You need three ports in order to use all the speakers 5.1 sound. They are all headphone jacks but they are front speakers, rear speakers, and sub/center

This unit just won't work at night

I had a similar issue with a product but not the same brand. It ended up being one of the many boards on this system even after the manufacturer said that the board that ended up being bad couldn't make the system behave in the way it was. After I replaced the bad board, it worked like a champ. I would recommend replacing the indoor pc board anyway. If that doesn't work, then there has to be something wrong with the wiring in the unit. If your charge is perfect then it wouldn't work even in the day time not just night especially if it were the expansion valve. I'm thinking that the units aren't communicating properly. Hope this helps.
