My Verizon Pantech phone is not connected to any services anymore. When I try to update it, it continually shows Error. How can I fix this?

i would give it a master reset, take out the batery while its on then put it back in and reboot it up then try to send a text. if thats doesnt work you should save your contacts and pics and ringtones on your computer than clear the phone reset the settings. and it should reset the network mms number. if you need help doign the reset let me know. also let me knwo if this works, it should

all you need is lg downloader or lgnpst software you can google those and a verizon prl. and once you have either of those softwares and the drivers for your phone is installed u can get that from here:http://www.humpa.com/vzw/. and a usb cable for your phone to connect it to your computer and where it says prl/eri u can load the verizon prl and write it to your phone. you will find it in the link i have given. dont look under the part for lg voyager but instead look under the section for LG-VX8500 Chocolate PRL - PRL.

call Verizon, they should be able to reset the code for you. only they would know the sequence of numbers to enter to bypass this.

is it in airplane mode? you cant make or receive calls if it is in that mode, get it out of that mode and try again.
