How do i repair an ASUS z53E motherboard?

A few weeks ago the laptop was able to start, but it shut down suddenly every time i turned it on. Yesterday, when i tried to start it, the laptop didn't started. It started once for a few seconds, but then it shut down when the fan started to move. What do you suggest?

Have you confirmed that it is indeed the laptop? (IE attached another power supply of same voltage/amperage) Sometime, cords can become frayed inside the laptop power supply cable and not show any outward signs. This wear and tear leads to unstable power and the laptop senses this and will not boot.

If you have, have the laptop checked at a local repair shop to see if it is a loose connection on the motherboard. Ports coming loose from the motherboard because of wear and tear is very common.

Yes, it has to be the laptop, i've just bought a new power supply cable and it works perfectly in other laptops... I'll take it to the repair shop to find the problem. Thank you for your attention!

I had a similar problem, in which I took a can of air and used it on the fan output area. After that it work fine. When I did some research it turn out that the computer was over heating and by clearing the dust out of it it was able to move the fan again.

Depending on how long the dust was clogging up the airflow, you might want to look at the thermal paste between the CPU and the Heatsink: The Thermalpaste has a tendancy to dry out if it gets too hot for too long and will actuall prevent the cpu from cooling, once it does dry completely

The cooling fan is attached to a heat sync over the CPU. When dirt or dust collect, the fan tends to slow down and the heating becomes intense. Sooner or later, the CPU will shut down and the system will die. Clean with a can of air to remove the debvris.

Water damaged Laptop

Attaching an external keyboard does not help because the keyboard controller is damaged.
I recommend you put your money towards a new laptop as the cost of repair maybe too expensive or beyond repair. Most computer repair shop charge for a quote and may drop this charge if you go ahead with the repair.
If the hard disk is OK then I suggest you remove it from the laptop and insert it into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an external USB hard drive for backups and data transfer etc.

Sounds like a faulty wireless card or the card is installed with the wrong version driver. The wireless card itself sounds to be bad and needs replacing

Did you get the battery checked? OR maybe it's an issue with the PowerJack connector on the motherboard...have it checked ASAP.... Also take out the battery and plug straight from the wall jack using the Adapter to ckeck if power is coming.
