Improper computer maintenance may result in slow PC. To fix computer running slow you are required to clean junk and windows errors from your PC using a System Utilities program.
To download a reliable System Utilities, go to famous website download.cnet and search there Reginout. Which I personally use and recommend the friends.
After downloading run all of its tools one by one except Internet Optimizer, to clean all the junk and error files from your computer.
It's may be the laptops Antenna? Wire broken, pinched, damage, connection loose. The Antenna is usually behind the monitor, wires run from the wireless adapter through the hinges and attach to the antenna, Maybe a loose connection on the Wireless adapter itself? Sometimes you can access through a bay door on the bottom of the laptop, sometimes you have to disassemble the laptop/keyboard, depends on the Asus Model. Have you connected a Ethernet cable?
Computer does not boot up The problem maybe the RAM, it is faulty or just needs reseating to make proper electrical contact. Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up then remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you. Just like you sometimes need a mechanic to repair your car, sometimes you do need a technician to diagnose and identify the fault or faults on your computer. Not only does a good service technican have the experience to deal with this type of problem, they also have the equipment that allows them to look at things the average computer user can't see, and he has a collection of replacement parts that can be used to quickly test individual components on your computer.
