Question about Google Nexus 5

1 Answer

Recently I updated my Nexus 5 to lollipop 5.1.But it is taking huge time in charging. Last night it did not get charged even though it was in the charging socket more than 6 hours. What should I do?

There is no physical injury in this device. i have been using it since August 2014. I tried it via via USB. It is also taking time.

The battery may be failing. This often is the case where a battery only charges partially no how many times charging is tried.

This is a bit risky, but you may try slightly bending the end of the charging cable by compressing it on the end that connects to the nexus, or try another cable. Thoes things are almost impossible to repair.

If you feel comfortable you could take it apart and re-solder the charge port. Most tablets are not that hard to take apart. You really just need some plastic pry bars and small screw drivers
