you may have a coin jammed in the coin reader device. I know absolutely nothing about your machine but am a gaming attendent and have the same type of fault occuring on gaming machines from time to time. Foreign coins or bent coins also can jam up the reader.
check if the coin reader can open up to release coins.

Now Comes The Heating Of The Chip...

Aim the heat at the Edge of the chip, You Will Start Rotating Around the Chip- around the outer edge of the chip...then use tighter circles concentrating on the quarter stack, then after about 30-40 seconds, slowly move closer to the chip...
Never Move the Heat Gun Closer than the Top Of Your Coin Stack...Then Pull It Back And Slowly Repeat.. The Chip Needs To Get Hot Enough To Re-Melt The Solder Balls On The Underside Of The Graphics Chip Back Down To The Contact Pads On the Motherboard.. and this takes Quite Alot of heating to Do.... You Must Not OVERHEAT the CHip... It Is Best To Underheat it and have to Redo.. than to overheat.. It will cause the solder to break down and even crack/split.. causing failure forever...
This process will take about 3 minutes total.. Once you shut off the Heat Gun.. Leave The Stack of Coins On The Chip And Let Sit For Another 5 minutes..

I love this machines. I have the DV9933cl the following it will be a lenghty process but if successful on following instructions you will be happy with the results and a little more computer sabby.

this is the same issue that the Xbox 360 has with the power rings over heating. also to maintain your computer at a lower temperature never leave your computer on your bed. All the vents are cover so no air goes in and this happens it over heats

Change the number of coins to operate


you need to take the coin slot apart take pictures as you go to put back together the parts to change amount are hidden inside it in hidden compartment if they wheren't removed by some one. your machine didn't come with the coin mech so if you don't have the parts you will need to take it with you to the parts house to get right parts. open the top of the coin mech box there are 2 long rod screws holding it in place usually 5/16 inch wrench fits may need to wiggle the heck out of it to get it out

I got a washer/dryer from a freand and its the one thats takes 1.00 for both how can i make it work with out having to put money in all the time


Depends on the coin mechanism. If it's a coin slide that you put all 4 quarters in then push the slide back, then there are two solutions. First, and best, would be to fill the quarter slots with blanks, then you could just push the slide when you need to start it. Second would be to just take off the service door and you would be able to reach your hand in and push on the same mechanism the slide would, of course you would need to keep your hand away from any wiring to avoid a possible electric shock. If it's a coin drop, where you put one quarter in at a time and the unit counts the quarters as you put them in, then you wouldn't be able to just start it, but you could reprogram the board accept just one quarter instead of 4, and you would need the manual as each manufacturer has a different process to do that.
