Question about Washing Machines
I have cleaned my machine regularly and it's been fine till now
You may have to remove the agitator and clean out the mud from under it
It may be a failed seal on the shaft and the gear box oil is being forced up the shaft and into the cloths.
The mud is from washing powder ( basic clay) that will not properly dissolve or be removed when the empty cycle is operating
If that is the case change over to liquid detergents
