SOURCE: washer won't stop beeping and can not change cycle selections

what light is flashing when it beeps. You might have to check and see if you are getting water to both Hot and Cold on the machine. Or your door might be closed all the way

SOURCE: the wash beeps all the time

I had the same problem about a year ago. Out of the blue, the washer would start beeping and blinking. While the washer would run fine, it was annoying. Anyways, I had the service guy in and he had to replace the control board panel (under warranty). Without warranty, the cost of the part would be ~ 150.00. It was fine after that.

SOURCE: samsung front loading washer temperature sensor problem

It may not be your temperature sensor or thermistor. If you have a tE error code on your Samsung washing machine, first check the wiring. My Samsung washer had three visits by the repair tech. and new parts ordered again and again. I looked on a British web site and two people said that it turned out to be wiring broken in several places. Sure enough, I found a broken wire. Technician didn't look for that. Hope it's as easy for you.

Hi,

Sounds like you may have flooded the base of the unit and activated the float switch. Tip the unit forward slightly with a towel at the base and all the water will pour out. You should be right to run the unit after that and any other water inside will dry up. it won't rust as it is stainless steel inside.

You may just have over sudded the unit by using the wrong detergent or too much. After you have the unit running again test the unit with no detergent and see if you activate the waterproof system again. if you do then you will probably have a split hose inside the unit.

SOURCE: kenmore frontload washer wont start no beep or error code

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question

Beko front loader washer dryer WDEX854044Q0G- Display keeps beeping and flashing through the wash settings.

If your Beko front loader washer dryer WDEX854044Q0G display keeps beeping and flashing through the wash settings, it could be due to a few possible causes. Here are some steps you can try to diagnose and fix the problem:
  1. Check for Error Codes: Your washer dryer may be displaying an error code that can help diagnose the problem. Check the user manual for instructions on how to access the error codes and what they mean.
  2. Check the Door: Make sure that the door is properly closed and latched, as this can cause the washer dryer to beep and flash. If the door is not closed correctly, the washer dryer may not operate.
  3. Check the Water Supply: Make sure that the water supply is turned on and that there is adequate water pressure. Low water pressure can cause the washer dryer to beep and flash.
  4. Check the Drain Hose: Make sure that the drain hose is not clogged or kinked, which can prevent the water from draining properly. Try removing any blockages or straightening any kinks in the hose.
  5. Check the Filter: The filter may be clogged with debris, which can prevent the washer dryer from operating correctly. Locate the filter on the bottom of the washer dryer and remove it to check for any blockages. Clean it out and reattach it.
  6. Check the Control Board: The control board is the brain of the washer dryer and controls all the functions. If it is faulty, it can cause the washer dryer to not operate correctly. Try resetting the control board or replacing it if it is faulty.
If none of the above steps work, it may be best to contact a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair. They can inspect the washer dryer thoroughly and ensure that it is working correctly and safely

Code in digital display does not have a E in front of it

Please let me know if you can get a number after this - if so what number shows up?

Model differences:
• Better models have a digital readout display
• Good models do not have a digital readout display
In the Better Models line, the failure codes will appear in the display as an E followed by two numbers, a number and a letter
or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin and Control indicator lights will flash.
Example: E14. To stop the flashing and beeping, the customer may touch the Pause Cancel button. The error code remains
stored in the control but once the problem is corrected, it does not effect the operation of the washer. If the failure is something
that the customer can correct (such as the water faucets being turned off), the washer will operate normally the next time it is
started.
In the Good Models line, the control signals the failure code by flashing the five indicator lights of Door Lock, Wash, Rinse,
Final Spin and Control for the first number or letter after the E and the Start indicator light for the second number or letter
after the E. When a failure occurs, the washer stops or pauses and the control beeps and flashes the five indicator lights to tell
the customer that a failure has occurred. To stop the flashing and beeping, the customer may touch the Pause Cancel button.
The error code remains stored in the control but once the problem is corrected, it does not effect the operation of the washer.
If the failure is something that the customer can correct (such as the water faucets being turned off), the washer will operate
normally the next time it is started.
To recall an error code,
• Wake the machine by pressing any button
• Wait 5 seconds
• Press and hold the Start and Pause Cancel buttons simultaneously
• All LEDs will go blank and after a few seconds the control will signal the stored code using audible beeps and blinking
LEDs. The control will repeatedly signal the code, as long as the Start and Pause Cancel buttons are pressed.
A two-second pause between repeats affords you the ability to make accurate counts to identify the correct error codes.
Please Note the following...... on a small number of washers with serial number prefix XC4,
if the previous procedure does not perform as specified, follow the option below:
• Follow all previous steps but instead of pressing Start and Pause Cancel buttons,
press and hold Options and Pause Cancel buttons.
If the washer is a Better Model, the error code will appear in the display. Troubleshoot problem by using charts on the
following pages.
If the washer is a Good Model, the five indicator lights of Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin and Control will flash the
number of times for the first digit of the code and the Start indicator light will flash the number of times for the second digit.
Take
separate counts of each indicator light, then repeat to confirm in order to be accurate in identifying the proper error code.
The code is obtained by counting the number of times the lights flash. Example E24: The five indicator lights would flash twice
indicating the 2 and the START indicator light will flash four times indicating the 4. The five indicator lights and the START
indicator light start flashing at the same time.
The control will pause for 2 seconds, then repeat the code as long as the two buttons are pressed and held.
Note: A letter appearing in the code stands for a number higher than nine:
A = 10 B = 11 C = 12 D = 13 E = 14 F = 15
Example Code F1: the first digit would be 15 and the second digit would be 1. If this code would appear on a washer in the
Good model line, the five indicator lights would blink fifteen times and the START indicator light would blink once.

Hello Randy, I am happy to assist you!

Error code E61 could potentially mean the heater relay has short circuited or there is a wiring malfunction. A qualified technician would pinpoint the problem by checking the wiring for both open and short circuit across heater relay(s). If the wiring isn't the issue, he/she would need to determine whether the problem rest with the main control board. It really could be a hit or miss calculation in parts so I would personally reach out to an experienced tech that will be able to identify the precise reason.

Best of luck!

It tries to start but then the start light keeps flashing

Hello John Schmader - Sounds like the washer could be experiencing a communication error with main control board, faulty door lock assembly, pump or the timer itself is not operating correctly. Is the unit making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose or pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned. Does the washer display an error code? Try pressing and holding the START and PAUSE/CANCEL button simultaneously. All LED's will go blank and after a few seconds the control will signal the stored code using audible beeps and blinking LED's. The control will repeatedly signal the code, as long as the START and PAUSE/CANCEL buttons are pressed. A two second pause between repeats affords you the ability to make accurate counts to identify an error (if one displays).

Kenmore oasis electric dryer beeps and displays code F45

We had this error on our machine for about a year before we finally got sick and tired of it. Our dryer was purchased in 2006.

Here is the solution: the code means there is an error on the thermistor. Our thermistor was loose, as were other electrical wires. My husband tightened up all the connections and the thermistor, and we have never had this error again.

However, we will never buy these machines again either, because we have had numerous other errors on the washer and dryer.
