SOURCE: washer won't stop beeping and can not change cycle selections
what light is flashing when it beeps. You might have to check and see if you are getting water to both Hot and Cold on the machine. Or your door might be closed all the way
SOURCE: the wash beeps all the time
I had the same problem about a year ago. Out of the blue, the washer would start beeping and blinking. While the washer would run fine, it was annoying. Anyways, I had the service guy in and he had to replace the control board panel (under warranty). Without warranty, the cost of the part would be ~ 150.00. It was fine after that.

It may not be your temperature sensor or thermistor. If you have a tE error code on your Samsung washing machine, first check the wiring. My Samsung washer had three visits by the repair tech. and new parts ordered again and again. I looked on a British web site and two people said that it turned out to be wiring broken in several places. Sure enough, I found a broken wire. Technician didn't look for that. Hope it's as easy for you.

Hi,
Sounds like you may have flooded the base of the unit and activated the float switch. Tip the unit forward slightly with a towel at the base and all the water will pour out. You should be right to run the unit after that and any other water inside will dry up. it won't rust as it is stainless steel inside.
You may just have over sudded the unit by using the wrong detergent or too much. After you have the unit running again test the unit with no detergent and see if you activate the waterproof system again. if you do then you will probably have a split hose inside the unit.

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Hello John Schmader - Sounds like the washer could be experiencing a communication error with main control board, faulty door lock assembly, pump or the timer itself is not operating correctly. Is the unit making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose or pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned. Does the washer display an error code? Try pressing and holding the START and PAUSE/CANCEL button simultaneously. All LED's will go blank and after a few seconds the control will signal the stored code using audible beeps and blinking LED's. The control will repeatedly signal the code, as long as the START and PAUSE/CANCEL buttons are pressed. A two second pause between repeats affords you the ability to make accurate counts to identify an error (if one displays).
