Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Does Asrock P4VM8 support 500GB SATA hard disks?

near the interface port of the hard drive you have to put a jumper that limit the connection speed from 3.0giga per second to 1.5giga per second, I think that would solve the problem because the hard drive speed goes to 3 giga per second and the motherboard p4vm8 serial ata port can support up to 1.5giga per second.

I have Babylock Palette 5.0 and I want to install on windows 7/32/64bit I do not know which install upgrade to use. I have installed the orginal disk and it does not work properly. Please advise.

Ester,
You will need to upgrade to Palette 8,0 or NeXT versions that are compatible with Windows 7. I'm not sure if Palette 7 upgrade will work either. Other option, may be to get old computer with Windows XP and the right Parallel printer port with the card reader security device for Palette software to work.

Security device does not work now

I presume your question is about palette? The security device (reader writer box) must be plugged in while software is in use.

Totally confused by my machines and these cards!!!! Please please please help

In the software you have to go to "Options" and adjust the "Design Page Property". If it is set to a size larger than what your machine is capable of stitching, the machine will not be able to read the card.

That setting has little to do with the size of the embroidery you are saving, it is more to do with telling the machine how big a hoop the design will be using.

That's why one machine reads the card but not the other machine (hoop size capability).

I have a pallette 2.0 i purchashed with babylock esante ese but the computer is newer and has vista. we bought a new usb cord but when we try to load program it says card writer is not connected. can you...

It sounds like you need to update the device driver for you card reader. You can go to Baby Lock USA web page and do a search for driver updates. Also the USB cord for the reader/writer card is specific for this device so don't throw it away until you try updating the driver for your particular Windows version.

I had the same problem and after buying a new card, found out that you get that message if the pattern you are trying to transfer is too big. reduce the size of the pattern and see if that works

Converting a .jpeg into a file that can be used to embroider

you may need to convert files to bit map (bmp)
if bmp doesn't work you can find lots of free downloadable programes that will allow you to convert your jpeg/gif files into other forms. Play with the convertions and you should find one that can be read by your machine. All software you would require should have come with your machine.
