Contact ZP directly to see if there's a fix for your reader errors. try right clicking on the msr 605 , find the properties tab click on that then compatibility tab and click on that , tick the box then highlight win 10 , apply and ok

Generally card readers will either come with a built in driver, or it would come with a driver disk. You may need to visit the website of the card reader to check for downloadable drivers is possible.
