Why it Does not fully charge

Have you ever let it completely discharge. Let it go say to... 5%. This type batteries for lack of a better word have memory. You must let them completely discharge a couple of times before hooking it up to the charger. Also do you have the correct ac charger that the tablet requires such as how many volts and how many mah does the tablet ac adapter need to be. Last ditch effort, I know it sound odd but plug it into a different outlet.

How do i know my kindle is fully charged


It is supposed to turn green when fully charged. There is also a battery charge indicator on screen.

Battery will not charge


Follow these steps if the Kindle battery is not charging:
  1. Connect Kindle to a different outlet.
  2. Verify the charge light at the base of the Kindle is on.
  3. Restart Kindle by pressing Home > Menu > Settings > Menu and select "Restart." Is the charge light on? Contact Customer Service.
  4. Is the charge light off? AC adapter needs to be replaced.
  5. Contact customer service for in-warranty options.
Follow these steps if the Kindle Battery is not holding a charge:
  1. Turn wireless off and fully charge your Kindle.
  2. With wireless turned off, Kindle battery life should be:

Make sure that the kindle is fully charged. Plug your kindle into the wall charger, a yellow light will light up. When the yellow light turns green, your kindle is fully charged. Then try turning on your device.

Kindle not working. It will not turn on blank screen


Make sure that the kindle is fully charged. When charging the kindle 3 will have a yellow light indicating that it is charging. When this turns green, your kindle is fully charged. Make sure your kindle is fully charged and then try turning it back on.
