How to oil brother PE 770

Brother says it should not be oiled but having 14 of those, I know that it has to be done but a Brother technician will not do that. OILING the machine may cause F05 speed sensor error. See how to solve it under this label.

U need to remove the complete front plastic panel. 3 screws on the top (2 lower the handles, 1 at upper right. Remove 1 screw at the center bottom of the rear panel. Remove both left top/ bottom panels (1 screw each) then the horizontal bottom left panle (2 screws). All the balance is fixed with clips.

First undo the 2 clips under the machine than carefully unclip everywhere. Front panel have 2 wire assembly attached to main board. Regular one is easy to remove. To remove the flat one, send down the upper part of the attchment on the main board.

Don't use reg. thin white sewing machine oil, it evaporate. Use SAE 80 (differentail type) oil or something like taht. Lubrificate all 4 lower shaft supports, rotary hook gears and central pin (from the top, under the bobbin case). Then lubrificate all the upper shaf support and especially all the needle bar mechanism. U need a good light to see upper needle bar support. Lower needle bar support support is the most critical point.

Coolant screw cover removal

You need to push down on the cover to get it to turn past that last partial turn. It is a safety feature to keep caps from blowing off inadvertantly when hot when an inattentive person starts removing cover.

When should the driveshaft oil be changed

I only own and ride drive shaft bikes. First thing I do is check it to see if it is OK or needs a top up. Then maybe every three years I might change it out.
Your bike is an '05 model so you might want to change it out.
If your going to do it at home, make sure you get the right type for your bike. But get more than 1 litre get at least 5 litres.
Remove the fill up screw, and then the drain screw. Drain all the oil out, put the drain screw back in. Fill it back up again, rotate the wheel a few times. Then remove the drain screw and then drain out all the oil.
Now leave the drain screw out, pour new gear oil in while you slowly rotate the wheel. This will remove all the metal swarf that may have accumulated in the diff. Keep pouring and rotating until what comes out is the same that is going in. Now put the drain screw back in and top up the specs, or just below the lowest edge of the fill hole. Replace the fill bolt tighten and then ride and enjoy.
You won't need to touch it for another 5 years.

How do I check the oil level in the lower unit of a 70 hp Johnson outboard?

remove the bottom drain screw first then place a tube of the proper lower unit oil in it. then remove the top screw and gently squeeze the tube of oil and when full it will slowly come out the top drain hole. when it does replace the lower plug first then the top plug second. make sure the seals are in good shape and plan on changing the oil in the lower unit yearly for proper maintainence. make sure you buy oil designed for your particular type of motor. good luck.

Start Switch Broke

Hello Friend, Its easy to replace the start switch on your dryer. Just remove the four screws at top of control panel. You will need a start tip bit to remove the screws. Once removed just pivot the panel towards front of washer exposing the inner backside of panel. Now you can easily remove the screws that hold on the start switch and replace with new one. Happy to help, Tim. Please rate my help to you. Thanks.

Kenmore dryer hums/heats up, but drum does not spin!

Depending on the type of door the dryer has, is how you approach the access of these dryers. Mostly though you yank out the filter first.Remove the 2 screws in the filter housing on top. Then use a putty knife to pop the top. Remove the screws holding the front panel on. VERY IMPORTANT! Raise the front up an inch before pulling forward or the panel clips will break! Some models have a panel on bottom. If they do then this panel must come off first. Then you remove the door springs and back off the screws holding down the bottom of the door panel. Then pop the top and remove the screws on top to get the panel out of your way. Yank out the tub. Clean the junk out (send me the coinery) oil the wheels and Idler with temp resistant zoomoil from ace hardware. Use this guide to replace dat belt Kimosabe:

Replacing interior light bulb for ge spacemaker xl1800

Always unplug a microwave before removing or installing any bulbs.

If it's an over the range type, remove the vent grille across the top to check if you can access the bulb fromthere. There may be a panel on the bottom covering the light(s), instead.
you may have to remove it from the wall, then remove the outer cover. If so, the installation instructions are very handy,
Once it's out of the wall, the outer cover (wrapper) will need to be removed, just as you'll need to do on a counter top model.

On a counter top model, be sure it's unplugged, but otherwise ignore the instructions above this paragraph.

The screws you need to remove should be pretty obvious, but a special driver (such as a T20H Torx type or GTXH20-100) may be needed.

Be sure to put all the screws back in the right holes, since some may be special grounding screws.

Bulbs can be had in most grocery stores, hardware stores, home improvement centers, and big box or department stores.

Many models use halogen lamps. You must not touch the new one with your bare skin, as the oils will shorten the bulb life.
