The Bissell 2X is plagued with problems. It is the only machine that my store will not take in for repair as it is not repairable. I risk getting kicked off of this site telling you this because they don't want me to tell you negative things about certain manufacturers. It is the truth though. Toss it, it isn't fixable. Have you tried a different area of the house? I would call an electrician and have your outlets checked.

Why do my VAX 651546 keep blowing fuse box after being turned on for a few moments ?

When a fuse trips, the current was to high. If the fuse keeps tripping, you really have a problem. It could be as simple as a defective capacitor, but also a shortage in one of the coils. It would be wise to bring the VAX to a repair shop and ask what it will cost to repair. Sometimes when they need to replace a motor, you are better of with a new machine.
I hope it is a minor defect.

When i plug in my oreck steam it mop, it keeps blowing the fuse

Make sure no other appliance is running at the same time. Some other appliance on the same house line is causing the fuse to overload. Example: If we have the space heater on in the bedroom and my wife tries to use her hair dryer then the fuse blows as they are both on the same circuit.

Henry geeps blowing fuse.why?

I would replace the whole unit itself. It's obviously shorting. What kind of vacuum is it and how old?

When you start up the microwave oven it blows the power throughout the house.

You must have a faulty magnetron or a capacitor that is short and so blows the fuse or trips the circuit.
You need to open the cabin to check the short on the capacitor, remove wire in the HT and check.
Please attempt only if you are familiar, if not take help/

The Microwave will not turn on.....Power is available at the socket. It stopped working while it was microwaving...

May be the main fuse inside the unit..you can try to replace the fuse...It will be around 15 Amps and will look like it is made of ceramic. If you change the fuse and it pops again then you have a major problem that is causing the fuse to blow. Be very careful when opening up the cover as there are very high voltages present inside the cabinet, especially near the magnetron tube and it's filter capacitor. These voltages can kill you so be careful. If the fuse blows again, then I would have a repairman service the unit

It will not turn on

first of all you need to check probable causes, make sure there is power to the electrical socket , try something you know that works, if this appliance works the next step would be to try the fuse in the plug , replace old fuse with new and to be sure to use correct amperage , too small it will blow fuse too large it could blow appliance. If this fails then its sure to be a component of which a competant electrician / service repairer should be sought.

hope this helps.

House fuse box blows when you plug machine in.

There is a short in your vacuum that is cause your circuit to trip. It is more then likely a ground wire that has come loose in the plug that attaches to the motor of the vacuum

Hoover WindTunnel Canister: Roller brush motor not turning

These motors have a fuse incorporated in the field winding and it sounds like that blew. These motors sometimes overheat at the front bearing and the bearing will melt into the plastic housing. This will cause the fuse to blow. It sounds like that's your problem. You can remove the motor by removing the three screws on the bottom of the powerhead and then check the front bearing for any bubbling or blistering in the plastic housing. The shaft of the motor should turn easily.
