Sounds as though the boiler has lost the supply to the heating element, or the supply is low.. Check that the thermal fuse in series with the boiler heater is not open circuit (there may be more than one in series). If it is OK, check for continuity across the heater inputs - if that measures open circuit or very high resistance, the heater has failed.

Otherwise just backtrack along the wiring harness looking for the power supply to the boiler, there will be at least one relay (contactor) and switch. Make sure all are working correctly. You should be easily enough able to locate where the supply to the boiler's heating element is getting lost :o)

I would like to get a manual/guidefor dishwasher DW009H from B&Q . Drying does not seem to be very thorough at the end of the cycle. Also the code E3 is showing when finished.

E3 Error Code

Cause: The water heater element does not work properly or the filter mesh is blocked.
Remedy: Clean the filter mesh and if the problem continues please contact service

As far as a manual is concerned, I believe Hobart manufacturers your model and not B&Q. B&Q just sells the unit. You may want to locate a Hobart dealer in your location to try to get the manual. You will probably need one to fix the heater element any how.

Cotton wash e8 error comes up

Error F08 means that the heater relay cannot be activated. Check connections on:
- pressure switch.
- heater element.
- control module.

The heating element is gone open circuit. Replace element. If you still cannot get it to work, then you are probably going to have to call an technician service.

Hope this helps.

Dishwasher isn't drying probably coming up with error three. Can't locate a solution to this. Can anyone help?

I would say a 3 fault is a heater element fault so you water is not getting hot atall. The heater is located in the base which you can gain access to from the front bottom of the appliance but be very careful the base plate is very sharp and will cut you, cover it with a towel for safety. The element is a little tricky to change but not impossible if you have some diy skills. Make sure you tighten the clamps that hold the element to the spray motor as it will leak and then give you an f2 fault. I think the elements are about £40 quid if you do it yourelf.

Hope this helps

I have a front load LG washing machine. Its two years old and it stopped working today and it is giving a code of TE on the read out. what does this mean? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

TE is a Thermistor error.

This can be a shorted Thermistor and or a bad heater element. These items are located at the front bottom of the washer's tub.

If you have a washer with steam function. It could also be the steam generator's thermistor and or a bad heater element. The steam generator is located just behind the dispenser’s housing on the top left side.

I can get you part numbers is you need them.
